Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole Eddie Van Halen zodiac thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I mean, I’m no astrology expert, but I was curious, you know? Like, what’s the deal with this guy’s star sign?
First, I hit up some astrology sites. I found out the basics. They all agree on one thing: Eddie Van Halen was an Aquarius. Born on January 26th, 1955, so that makes sense, right? Apparently, his rising sign was Taurus, too. I guess that means something, but I’m still trying to figure that part out. I even found a website called * that talks about some kind of Indian astrology stuff like “kundli” and “horoscope.” That was a whole new world for me. But I kept it in mind for later. I tried to find out what a “birth chart” is and what information this thing could tell me.
I dug a little deeper, found some more specific stuff about Eddie’s “Moon Sign” also being Aquarius, and his “Nakshatra” being something called Dhanishta. Honestly, I had to read up on what all that meant. Still, it looks like a bunch of different ways of saying he was an Aquarius, at least to my untrained eye. I also found some sources talking about his “planetary positions,” “dasa,” and “rasi chart,” but honestly, that was way over my head. There were some other interesting sites like Radical Charts, but it just has a list of different celebrities like Frank Sinatra and their zodiac signs, they all use the same format, which is boring. I was hoping to find something like who are the best singers in each sign but failed. After all, most of them mentioned that Aries have more great singers like Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Lady GaGa and Virgo have Beyonc� and Pink. I guess that’s why people are all over those specific signs.
Then, because I’m a thorough kind of person (or maybe just stubborn), I started looking into what it means to be an Aquarius. Lots of talk about being innovative, independent, and a bit rebellious. Sounds kind of like a rock star, doesn’t it? I mean, the guy revolutionized guitar playing. Seems to fit, at least on the surface. I found out that Eddie Van Halen moved to southern California in 1962 and learned guitar when he was seven. So that could also explain why he was so great at it.
But here’s where it got a little tricky. I saw some people saying that certain zodiac signs are better at certain things, like singing. They mentioned that Aries and Virgo produce a lot of great singers. I didn’t see anyone claiming that Aquarius was particularly known for musical talent, but maybe I missed it. I mean Eddie was really great at playing guitar. Or maybe it just doesn’t matter that much. He sure didn’t let it stop him, that’s for sure! I found out that Eddie was good at drums too, but his brother Alex was better, so they switched and made Eddie learn guitar.
So, what’s the conclusion?
Honestly, I’m still not sure. It’s all pretty interesting, but I don’t know if I’m ready to say that Eddie Van Halen’s zodiac sign made him a musical genius. It probably played a part, or maybe it didn’t. But it is really interesting to read about. I tried to find out the exact time he was born to find a more specific chart, but I failed. Maybe I’ll do that next time.
What I do know is that the guy was incredibly talented and changed the world of music forever. And that’s way cooler than any zodiac sign, in my opinion.
