Love Questions to Ask Tarot: Simple Guidance for Your Relationships!

Okay, so I’ve been feeling a bit lost in the love department lately, and I decided to turn to my trusty tarot deck for some guidance. I’m not a pro or anything, but I find it fun and sometimes surprisingly insightful. The title of my little experiment? “Love Questions to Ask Tarot”. Yeah, pretty straightforward, I know.

First things first, I cleared my space. I lit a candle, put on some chill music (think lo-fi beats, nothing too distracting), and just sat quietly for a few minutes to get centered. I shuffled the deck while thinking about my love life (or lack thereof, haha). I wasn’t focusing on any specific question yet, just generally opening myself up to whatever the cards wanted to tell me.

Then came the hard part – figuring out what to ask! I didn’t want anything too vague like “Will I ever find love?” because, honestly, that’s just setting myself up for disappointment. I wanted something more… actionable, I guess? So I brainstormed a bit and came up with a few questions:

  • “What can I do to attract a healthy relationship?”
  • “What is blocking me from finding love?”
  • “What do I need to work on within myself to be ready for a partner?”
  • “What lesson am I suppose to learn in this season of my life for love?”

I decided to go with the “blocking” question first. I shuffled the deck again, focusing all my energy on that question, and then drew three cards. I laid them out in a simple past-present-future spread. Nothing fancy, just trying to keep it simple.

My Card Reading

Here is the record of my reading, and the result for how to help my block for love:

  • Past: Five of pentacles, it seems like that I used to feel lonely.
  • Present: Ten of cups, it seems like I am longing for a happy ending in relationship, and it’s hard to fufill.
  • Future: Two of cups, woops, it saids I might meet someone to build the connection!

Okay, I’m not gonna lie, interpreting the cards is where I always get a little tripped up. I have my little guidebook, and I also do some quick online searches to see different interpretations. It’s all very subjective, which is part of the fun, I think. The overall vibe was that I might have some past emotional baggage holding me back, but there’s potential for connection if I work on opening myself up. It also showed me good news that I may meet someone in my future!

I jotted down my thoughts in my journal – the cards I drew, my initial interpretations, and any feelings or insights that popped up. I find this really helps me process everything and see patterns over time.

Honestly, the whole process was more helpful than I expected. It wasn’t about getting definitive answers, but more about sparking self-reflection. It made me think about my own patterns and what I really want in a relationship. Plus, it was just a nice little self-care ritual. Will I do it again? Definitely. Maybe next time I’ll try a different spread or focus on a different question. It’s all about exploring and seeing what resonates, right?
