Best 12 Card Tarot Spread: Find Insights and Guidance

Alright, guys, so I’ve been messing around with tarot spreads lately, and let me tell you, some of them are intense. I decided to try out this 12-card spread I saw, and wow, it was a journey. Let me walk you through what I did.

First, I grabbed my favorite deck – the one I’ve had for years and just feels right, you know? I made sure I was in a quiet spot, lit a candle (because, ambiance), and shuffled the cards while focusing on what I wanted some clarity on. It’s all about setting the mood and getting your head in the game.

Then, I laid out the cards one by one, following the pattern I’d found. It’s kind of like a big circle with some cards in the middle. It looked pretty cool, I gotta admit. I placed the cards face down, to build the suspense, I guess!

Start to reading:

  • Card 1: Past Influences
  • Card 2: Present Situation
  • Card 3: Hidden Factors
  • Card 4: Obstacles
  • Card 5: External Influences
  • Card 6: Best Course of Action
  • Card 7: Your Hopes and Fears
  • Card 8: What You Need to Focus On
  • Card 9: Short-Term Future
  • Card 10: Long-Term Potential
  • Card 11: Inner Message
  • Card 12: Overall Outcome.

I slowly flipped over each card, one at a time. I took my time with each one, really looking at the imagery and thinking about how it related to the position in the spread and my overall question. I’m no expert, so I kept referring back to the guide I was using to make sure I was on the right track.

It took a while, honestly. 12 cards is a lot to process! Some of them made sense right away, others I had to sit with for a bit. I even jotted down some notes in my journal as I went, trying to connect the dots between the different cards and how they might be related.

After I looked at all the cards individually, I tried to see the bigger picture. How did they all flow together? What was the overall message? It was like putting together a puzzle, and it definitely took some brainpower.

In the end, I got some interesting insights. It wasn’t like a crystal-clear answer, but it gave me some things to think about and some different perspectives on my situation. I definitely feel like I understand things a little better now, or at least have some new avenues to explore.

This 12-card spread was a beast, but I’m glad I tried it. It was a good exercise in patience and intuition, and it definitely gave me some food for thought. Might not do it every week, but it’s a cool tool to have in the toolbox!
