Free Celtic Cross Tarot Reading Online: Your Questions, Answered Simply!

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get back into Tarot, and I figured a Celtic Cross spread would be a good way to dive back in. I found some website that offers a “free Celtic Cross Tarot reading,” so I thought, “Why not?” Let’s see how this works.

Getting Started

First, I grabbed my favorite deck—the one I’ve had for years and feel most connected to. Even though this is an online thing, I still wanted to use my own cards. I shuffled them really well, thinking about what I wanted to focus on. I didn’t have a super specific question, more like a general “What do I need to know right now?” vibe.

The Digital Deal

I entered to that website offering the free reading.

It was pretty straightforward. There was this virtual deck, and I had to “click” on the cards to draw them. I guess it’s supposed to simulate drawing them myself. Each card had a position, just like a regular Celtic Cross spread – you know, the Present, the Challenge, the Past, all that stuff.

My Virtual Spread

  • The Present: I clicked, and boom, The Magician. Kinda cool, makes me think about resourcefulness and making things happen.
  • The Challenge: Two of Swords. Okay, feeling a bit stuck or indecisive, maybe?
  • The Past: The Chariot. Alright, I’ve definitely been pushing forward on some things recently.
  • The Future: Ten of * like that my future will be wealthy.
  • Above(Conscious): Five of Wands. Hmmm have to think about the competition.
  • Below(Unconscious): Three of Cups. Celebrations, joy, and connection with others.
  • Advice: The Lovers, interesting choice.
  • External Influences: The Star.
  • Hopes/Fears: Queen of Wands.
  • Outcome: King of Swords.

Making Sense of It

After I “drew” all the cards, the website gave me some basic interpretations for each one. They were pretty generic, to be honest. The real work was figuring out how they all connected to my life. That Magician in the present position, combined with the Two of Swords as the challenge, made me think I have the tools to get unstuck, but I need to make a decision.

And It gave me the simple meaning of the outcome:King of Swords. King of Swords is the simple and easy to understand explaination.

My Takeaway

Honestly, the “free reading” part was just a card drawing simulator. The interpretations were okay, but I ended up doing most of the work myself, connecting the cards to my own situation and using my own knowledge of Tarot. It was a good reminder that even with online tools, the real magic of Tarot comes from your own intuition and understanding.

It was fun, though! A good way to dust off my deck and get back into the practice. Might do it again sometime, but maybe I’ll just stick to my physical cards next time. There’s something about holding them that feels more…real, you know?
