Okay, so I’ve been getting into Tarot lately. It’s kinda fun, and I thought I’d try to get a little more specific with my questions. I used to just pull a card and be like, “What’s up for today?” But I figured, why not get a little more… focused, you know?
So, I started brainstorming. I grabbed my notebook and a pen – gotta love the feeling of actual writing, even in this digital age. I decided to categorize the questions to get a more clear image for myself.
Love and Relationships
- First up, I did some on love and relationships. I’m single right now, so my questions were more about what I need to work on.
- I wrote down stuff like, “What energy should I be embodying to attract the right partner?” And, “What’s blocking me from finding love?” Deep, I know.
Career and Finances
- Next was career/finances. Work’s been kinda…stagnant.
- So I jotted down, “What steps can I take to move forward in my career?” And “What am I not seeing about my financial situation?” You know, trying to get some clarity on that front.
Personal Growth
- Then, I thought about personal growth, that’s always a good one.
- I went with, “What lesson am I currently learning?” And, “What should I focus on for my spiritual development?” Trying to get in touch with my inner self, you feel me?
Specific Situations
- I also had a couple of specific things going on, so I added those in.
- Like, “What do I need to know about this situation with [friend’s name]?” And, “How can I best approach this project I’m working on?” Real practical stuff.
After I’ve done all this, I shuffled my deck, tried to clear my mind, you know, the whole ritual. Then I pulled cards for each question, one by one. I wrote down the card, my initial thoughts, and then looked up the traditional meaning to see if it added anything.
It was…interesting. Some of the cards made total sense, like a direct hit. Others, I had to think about a little more, like, “Okay, how does this apply?”
The big takeaway for me? Being specific with my questions definitely made the readings feel more…relevant. It wasn’t just some vague prediction; it was more like getting advice on specific areas of my life. I’m gonna keep doing it this way, for sure. It feels like I’m actually having a conversation with the cards, instead of just getting a random message.
