Okay, here’s my blog post about my “pregnancy tarot reading free” experiment. Let’s dive in!
My DIY Pregnancy Tarot Reading: A Free (and Slightly Chaotic) Experiment
So, I was sitting around the other day, totally bored and, let’s be honest, a little bit anxious about… well, everything. You know how it is. And I stumbled upon a bunch of websites offering “free pregnancy tarot readings.” I was super skeptical, but also super curious. Figured, hey, what’s the harm? It’s free! I decided to dive headfirst into the wonderful world of online tarot readings.
First thing I did was hit up Google. Searched for “pregnancy tarot reading free” and bam! A million different sites popped up. I clicked on like, five of them. Each one was different, which was already kinda weird.
One site had me pick cards from a virtual deck. I clicked on three cards, and the site spat out some generic interpretation about motherhood and nurturing. Nothing specific, ya know? Very “duh, you’re pregnant” vibes.
Another one was even weirder. It asked for my date of birth and then generated some kind of astrological chart alongside the tarot reading. It told me I’d have a strong-willed child. Which, honestly, I could have guessed myself. My husband and I are both pretty stubborn.
I tried a third site that offered a “yes or no” pregnancy reading. I typed in my question (“Will I have a healthy pregnancy?”), clicked the button, and the card that came up was… maybe? Seriously! “Maybe” is not the answer I was looking for! Super unhelpful.
Then, I got a little more ambitious. I remembered I had an old tarot deck tucked away in a drawer somewhere. It’s a basic Rider-Waite deck that I bought years ago and barely touched. So, I dusted it off and decided to try a reading myself.
I watched a couple of YouTube videos about pregnancy-specific tarot spreads. Found one that looked simple enough – a three-card spread: Past, Present, and Future.
I shuffled the deck (probably not very well) and pulled three cards.
The first card, for the Past, was the Four of Swords. I think it mean something like “rest and contemplation”. Maybe it was reflecting all the worrying I did before even getting pregnant? Who knows!
The second card, for the Present, was the Queen of Cups. Okay, this one I liked. It’s a very nurturing, emotional card. I felt that was kind of accurate since I’ve been super emotional lately.
The third card, for the Future, was the Tower. Eeek! This card is usually associated with sudden change and upheaval. I was a bit worried to see that!
I looked up interpretations for each card online and tried to piece them together. I figured the reading meant that my past anxieties were behind me, I’m currently embracing the emotional side of pregnancy, but there might be some unexpected challenges ahead.
Honestly, it was all a bit of a mess. I don’t really know what I’m doing with tarot. But it was kind of fun! And it did get me thinking about things in a different way. The “Tower” card freaked me out for a minute, but then I realized that change is inevitable, especially with a baby on the way.
My conclusion? Free online pregnancy tarot readings are mostly generic and not super insightful. Doing your own reading can be fun, but don’t take it too seriously! It’s all about your own interpretation. Plus, it’s free entertainment, and that’s always a win in my book!
- Did I gain any real insight? Probably not.
- Was I entertained? Absolutely!
- Will I do it again? Maybe. But next time, I might just stick to watching funny cat videos.
