Okay, so I got a bit curious the other day about this whole ‘free tarot and angel reading’ thing you see online. Thought I’d give it a whirl, you know, just to see what it was all about. Didn’t expect much, especially from the ‘free’ part, but hey, worth a look.
My Little Experiment
First off, I just went online. Typed something like “free tarot card reading” into the search bar. Loads of stuff popped up, mostly websites offering instant readings. I picked one that looked simple enough, didn’t ask for too much info upfront.
Trying the Tarot
So, I landed on this page. It asked me to think about a question, or just focus on my general situation. Then, I had to click on some virtual cards. I think it was a simple three-card spread – past, present, future, or something like that. Click, click, click. Done.
The results popped up almost instantly. Each card had a picture and some text underneath explaining its meaning in relation to its position (past, present, future). Honestly? It felt super generic. The descriptions were vague enough they could apply to almost anyone. Things like “You faced a challenge” or “A decision needs to be made” or “Hope is on the horizon.” Well, yeah, probably! It wasn’t bad, just… impersonal. Like reading a horoscope in a newspaper. Didn’t feel like my reading, you know?
Giving Angels a Go
Alright, tarot was a bit ‘meh’. So, I thought I’d try the angel reading side. Did another search, found a different site promising free angel messages. This one was even simpler. I just had to click a button that said something like “Get Your Angel Message”.
Click. A little message appeared, attributed to some angel. It was very positive, full of comforting words like “You are loved,” “Trust the journey,” “Angels are watching over you.” Again, super sweet and uplifting, but also incredibly general. It felt nice for a second, like getting a little digital pat on the back, but it didn’t offer any real insight or guidance specific to me. It was like a fortune cookie, but with wings.
What I Reckon
So, what did I get out of this little adventure?
- It was quick and easy. Didn’t cost anything but a few minutes of my time.
- The ‘free’ versions seem mostly automated and spit out very general advice or feel-good messages.
- The tarot reading felt slightly more structured with the card meanings, but still lacked personal depth.
- The angel reading was simpler and more focused on positive affirmations.
Overall, it was an okay experience if you’re just looking for a momentary distraction or a vague, positive pick-me-up. Didn’t feel like a real, connected reading though. You get what you pay for, or in this case, what you don’t pay for, I suppose. It was interesting to click through the process, but I wouldn’t base any big life decisions on it. Just my two cents from trying it out myself.
