Whats your tarot 2024 analysis revealing? (Discover the key insights for your love life and career)

Alright, so I finally got around to doing my personal Tarot lookahead for 2024. Felt like it was time, you know? Things have been moving fast, and I wanted to just sit down and get a feel for the energy of the year.

Getting Started

First things first, I grabbed my go-to deck. It’s seen better days, edges are soft, but it feels right in my hands. Found my quiet corner, away from the noise. Didn’t do anything fancy, just cleared off my small table, maybe lit a candle, can’t remember. Just needed some space to focus.

Spent a few minutes just shuffling. Really put my mind into it, thinking about the months ahead, the general vibe of 2024, what might be coming down the track. I shuffle until it feels ‘done’. No set number of times, just a feeling.

Laying Out the Cards

I didn’t go for some massive, complicated spread this time. Kept it pretty straightforward. I decided on a simple five-card line. Thought it would give me enough to chew on without getting lost.

  • Card 1: The core theme for 2024.
  • Card 2: What to expect in the first half of the year.
  • Card 3: What to expect in the second half.
  • Card 4: The main challenge or obstacle.
  • Card 5: The likely overall outcome or lesson.

Cut the deck into three piles with my left hand, then stacked ’em back up. Then just drew the five cards off the top, laying them face down in a row.

What Came Up

Took a breath and flipped them over one by one.

The core theme? Temperance. Okay, interesting. Felt like a call for balance, patience, mixing things together carefully. Not rushing. Definitely something I need to remember.

First half of the year showed the Eight of Pentacles. Work, basically. Head down, focusing on a craft, learning, getting skilled at something. Seems about right, lots of projects kicking off. So, suggests effort and diligence pay off early on.

Second half, though? The Five of Swords popped up. Oof. Conflict, feeling like you won but at a cost, maybe some tension or arguments. Doesn’t feel great, gotta be honest. A reminder to maybe pick my battles later in the year, or be mindful of how I handle disagreements.

The challenge card was the Knight of Wands, but reversed. So, the challenge is like… frustration. Delays. Maybe starting things without finishing them, or energy being scattered and impulsive. Yeah, I can see that being a hurdle. Need to watch out for burnout or acting too quickly without thinking.

And the final card, the outcome? The Hermit. Stepping back, looking inward, needing time alone for reflection and guidance. It wasn’t like a super happy ending card, but it felt… necessary. Like, after all the work and potential conflict, the year might end with needing to withdraw a bit, figure things out internally, find my own light.

Wrapping It Up

So, that was the spread. Temperance holding it together, hard work early on, potential friction later, watch out for scattered energy, and ending with some solo reflection time. Makes a kind of sense, actually.

I wrote down the cards and my first gut feelings about them in my notebook. Didn’t overthink it too much. Just got the main points down. It’s not about predicting the future exactly, more like getting some signposts, things to be aware of as the year unfolds.

Now I just gotta live it, right? See how it actually goes down. But it’s good to have these thoughts tucked away. Gives me something to reflect on as the months pass.
