My Run-in with the Number 2020
Alright, let’s talk about this 2020 number thing. It’s funny looking back now. Around the tail end of 2019 and kicking right into the actual year 2020, I started seeing that number sequence everywhere. Seriously, everywhere.
My journey with it wasn’t some big spiritual quest, not really. It was more like this persistent little nudge. First, it was the clock. Bam! 20:20. Okay, happens. Then it happened again the next day. And again. You start to notice patterns, right?
Then it started showing up in other places.
- Receipt totals, like $20.20.
- Phone numbers I had to dial for work stuff.
- Even random things like page numbers or license plates passing by.
It just kept popping up. It wasn’t like I was looking for it, not at first anyway. It just seemed to find me.
So, what did I do? Well, naturally, I got curious. I’m not super into mysticism or anything, but when something keeps showing up, you kind of want to know why. I remember pulling out my phone one evening, probably after seeing 20:20 on the microwave clock, and just typing something like “seeing 2020 everywhere” into the search bar.
Lots of stuff came up, of course. Talk about ‘angel numbers’, messages, balance, trust, new beginnings, all that jazz. Some of it resonated, some of it felt a bit out there for me. I read a few bits here and there, mostly skimming. Didn’t really dive deep into complex meanings. It was more like, “Huh, okay, so people think this means something.”
