Okay, so yesterday I was messing around with my tarot cards, right? Been meaning to get back into it. Found this cool spread online called “6 Tarot” – seemed simple enough, so I figured, why not?
First thing I did was shuffle the deck, you know, get my energy into it. I like to do it until it feels right, not a set number of times. Then I cut the deck into three piles and put it back together, just like I saw in some old movie once. Felt kinda dramatic, haha.
The spread itself is pretty straightforward. You lay out six cards in a specific order. Each position represents something different.
- Card 1: Your Past Influences
- Card 2: Your Present Situation
- Card 3: Obstacles
- Card 4: Advice
- Card 5: Possible Outcome
- Card 6: Overall Energy
So, I drew the first card for “Past Influences.” Got the Five of Pentacles. Immediately thought about some financial stuff I’ve been stressing about lately. Makes sense, I guess. Been a bit tight on cash.
Next, “Present Situation” – pulled the Queen of Swords. This one was interesting. Maybe I’m being too analytical or critical in a situation? Gotta chill out, maybe.
Then came “Obstacles.” The Tower showed up. Yikes! Definitely feeling like there’s some chaos or unexpected changes headed my way. Not exactly what I wanted to see, but hey, at least I’m prepared, right?
For “Advice,” I got the Four of Wands. That’s kinda nice. Means I should focus on stability and celebrating the good things I already have. Take a breather before the Tower comes crashing down, haha.
Then “Possible Outcome” – pulled the Ten of Cups. YES! This is awesome! Seems like despite the obstacles, things are gonna work out pretty well in the end. Happiness, fulfillment, all that jazz.
Finally, “Overall Energy” – the Page of Cups. New beginnings, creativity, and emotional growth. Sweet! Sounds like I’m on the right path, even if it’s a bit bumpy.
After I laid out all the cards, I spent some time just looking at them, thinking about what they might mean in my own life. It’s not about fortune-telling, for me, it’s more about getting a different perspective on things. I always take photos as well, its interesting looking back at these things and seeing if they made sense later.
Honestly, it was a pretty insightful little session. Gonna try to remember the advice from the cards and, you know, just roll with whatever’s coming. Tarot isn’t magic, but it definitely helps me think about things in a different light. Plus it’s just a fun way to spend an afternoon!
