Okay, so, I’ve been seeing the number 1618 everywhere lately. Like, seriously, everywhere. On license plates, on receipts, even in my dreams! It’s been kind of freaking me out, to be honest. I figured it had to mean something, right? So, I did what any normal person would do – I went down the internet rabbit hole.

Then, I tried to be more mindful of my thoughts and feelings. Every time I caught myself thinking negative thoughts, I’d consciously replace them with positive ones. It was surprisingly hard at first, but it got easier over time. I also started to pay more attention to my intuition. I’d always been the kind of person to overthink things, but now I was trying to trust my gut more.
The next step was to take action. I started applying for jobs that I actually wanted, not just any job that would pay the bills. I started eating healthier and exercising more regularly. I even started a side hustle, something I’d been thinking about doing for years but never had the guts to actually start. I even tried to visualize what I wanted, like I was living it already. I pictured myself in that new job, feeling confident and fulfilled. I imagined myself feeling healthy and energized. It was actually kind of fun.
And you know what? Things started to shift. It wasn’t like I won the lottery overnight or anything, but I did get a job offer for a position that was a much better fit for me. And it paid more! I also started feeling better physically and mentally. I had more energy, and I was generally just happier.
Now, I’m not saying that seeing the number 1618 magically changed my life. But I do think that paying attention to it, and taking the actions that I did, helped me to focus on what I really wanted and to start moving in the right direction. I guess it acted as a catalyst. The number itself might not have power, but my focus shifted because of it.
So, if you’re seeing 1618 everywhere, maybe it’s a sign to pay attention to your own life and to start taking steps towards your goals. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence. Either way, it’s a good reminder that we all have the power to create the lives we want, even if it’s hard work.
I’m still seeing 1618 from time to time, but now it doesn’t freak me out anymore. It actually makes me smile. It’s like a little wink from the universe, reminding me that I’m on the right path. And who knows, maybe there’s a little bit of magic in that after all. We all make our own magic, right?
