Alright folks, gather ’round! Today, I’m spilling the beans on my deep dive into the “1955 angel number” thing. Buckle up, it’s a bit of a wild ride.
So, it all started a couple of weeks ago. I kept seeing 1955 everywhere – on clocks, receipts, even a car license plate! It was getting kinda freaky, like the universe was trying to tell me something. Naturally, I did what any sane person would do: I Googled it.
Turns out, “angel numbers” are a whole thing. People believe they’re messages from the universe, your spirit guides, angels – whatever you want to call ’em. 1955, according to the internet, is supposed to be about big changes, letting go of the old, and embracing the new. Okay, universe, I’m listening.
First thing I did? I took a good, hard look at my life. What wasn’t working? What was I clinging to that I needed to ditch? The obvious answer was my job. I’ve been a data entry clerk for like, 10 years. It’s soul-crushing, but it’s stable. But 1955 was practically screaming at me to shake things up.
So, I started small. I began decluttering my apartment. Seriously, I went full Marie Kondo on that place. Got rid of clothes I hadn’t worn in years, old gadgets gathering dust, even some furniture. It felt surprisingly good to get rid of all that baggage.
Next, I tackled my routine. I’m a creature of habit, which is probably why I was stuck in that data entry rut. I started waking up earlier, going for walks, trying new recipes. I even joined a pottery class – something I’d always wanted to do but never had the “time.”
The biggest leap? I started updating my resume. Ugh. I hadn’t done that in ages. It was painful, trying to spin my data entry experience into something remotely interesting. But I did it. I even started looking at different job boards, just to see what was out there.
Then, the real kicker. My neighbor, who’s a web developer, found out I was looking for something new. He said his company was hiring junior front-end developers, and he thought I’d be a good fit. Me? A front-end developer? I barely know how to use Excel!
But, he offered to teach me the basics. We spent a couple of evenings a week going over HTML, CSS, and Javascript. It was tough, I’m not gonna lie. My brain felt like it was going to explode sometimes. But I was actually enjoying it! It was challenging and creative, a complete 180 from my data entry job.
- Downloaded VS Code
- Practiced HTML/CSS layouts
- Watched countless YouTube tutorials
So, here’s where I’m at. I still have the data entry job (for now). I’m still learning web development. And I’m still seeing 1955 everywhere. Whether it’s just a coincidence or the universe really is sending me messages, I don’t know. But I’m taking it as a sign to keep pushing myself, keep learning, and keep embracing change. Wish me luck!
Update: I got the junior front-end developer job! Starting next month. Holy crap! Maybe those angel numbers are real after all. Thanks for listening, folks. Time for me to go celebrate!
