Okay, so yesterday was kinda wild. I kept seeing 5:50 everywhere, and you know how it is – you start Googling, fall down the angel number rabbit hole. Anyway, thought I’d actually DO something with it instead of just reading about it.
First thing I did? I just wrote it down. Big and bold in my journal. 5:50. Felt kinda silly, but whatever, gotta start somewhere.
Then, I tried to figure out what it supposedly meant. Read a bunch of stuff about change, letting go, new beginnings…typical angel number stuff. So, I thought, “Alright, self, what’s one thing you’ve been putting off that needs a change?”
Immediately, my messy closet popped into my head. Ugh. But, you know, facing the music. So, I set a timer for 55 minutes. That’s the closest I could get to 5:50, right? And just started ripping stuff out. Clothes I haven’t worn in years, old papers, random junk…it was a disaster zone.
The actual clearing out part was surprisingly…therapeutic? I mean, yeah, it was gross and dusty, but getting rid of all that old crap felt good. I ended up filling like, three garbage bags.
After the 55 minutes were up, I took a break. Grabbed some water, scrolled through TikTok for a bit (procrastination level: expert). But then I went back in and actually organized what was left. Hung up clothes, put things in boxes, even vacuumed the floor. It looks SO much better.
Now, did seeing 5:50 magically transform my life? Nah. But did it give me the kick in the butt I needed to finally deal with that closet? Absolutely. And honestly, the feeling of accomplishment after getting it done is way better than I expected.
- Wrote down the number.
- Googled the meaning (the basics, at least).
- Identified an area needing “change”.
- Set a timer (close enough to 5:50).
- Cleared out the clutter.
- Organized what remained.
I’m not saying angel numbers are real or anything, but using it as a prompt to tackle something I was avoiding? I’m kinda into it. Might try it again next time I see a weird number sequence. Who knows, maybe I’ll finally clean out the garage!
Tonight I am thinking of doing some meditation to try and see if any deeper insights come but it was a good start to a Tuesday.
