So, I decided to take a step back and really think about my life. What were my dreams? What was I focusing on? Was I balanced? Was I too obsessed with the small stuff? After all this, I realized I had been kind of stuck in a rut. I was so focused on work and paying the bills that I had forgotten about the things I really wanted to do, like traveling and starting my own little online shop.
I’m not saying I’m going to quit my job tomorrow and run off to Bali, but I did start making some changes. I started setting aside a little time each day to work on my online shop idea. I even booked a short trip to a nearby city I’ve always wanted to visit. And you know what? I feel better. I feel more like myself.
