Well, I tell ya, dreams, they’re a funny thing. Like last night, I dreamt of a pianer. Yep, a pianer, one of them big ol’ things with the black and white teeth. Never played one myself, fingers too clumsy for that fancy stuff. But there it was, shiny and big in my dream.

Now, some folks say dreams ain’t nothin’ but your supper disagreein’ with ya. But I reckon there’s more to it than that, especially when you think about the Bible. Them old stories, they’re full of dreams and what they mean. So, a pianer, what could it mean in the eyes of the Lord?
First off, I heard tell that a pianer can mean harmony. You know, like when everyone’s gettin’ along and things are peaceful. Like a big family gathering where ain’t nobody fightin’ over the last piece of chicken. That’s good, right? The Bible talks a lot about peace and lovin’ your neighbor, so maybe that dream’s a sign to try and get along better with folks, even that nosy Mrs. Henderson down the street.
Then there’s the music itself. When you play a pianer right, it sounds real pretty, all the notes fittin’ together just so. That could mean you’re tryin’ to get your life in order, makin’ sure everything’s balanced. Like when you’re plantin’ a garden, you gotta have the right amount of sun and water, or nothin’ will grow. Same with life, I reckon. Gotta have a little bit of this and a little bit of that, work and rest, laughter and tears.
- Now, if you’re dreamin’ of playin’ that pianer real good, like you was some kind of concert feller, that could mean you’re lookin’ to be good at somethin’. Maybe you wanna learn a new skill, like knittin’ or bakin’ a pie without burnin’ the crust. It’s about tryin’ hard and gettin’ better at somethin’ you care about. The Good Book says somethin’ about usin’ your talents, don’t it? Well, maybe that dream’s a nudge to do just that.
But hold on, it ain’t always sunshine and roses. The way that pianer looks in your dream matters too. If it’s all busted up and out of tune, well, that ain’t so good. Could mean things ain’t right in your life, like a fence that needs mendin’ or a friendship that’s gone sour. Maybe you’re feelin’ out of sorts, like a hen that’s lost her chicks. If that’s the case, you gotta figure out what’s broken and try to fix it.
And the color, oh the color! If it’s a bright, shiny color, maybe gold or somethin’, that’s probably a good sign. Means happiness and good things comin’ your way. But if it’s dark and gloomy, like a storm cloud, then you might need to watch out. Could be trouble brewin’, like a fox in the henhouse. Gotta be careful and pray for guidance.

The Bible’s full of folks havin’ dreams and then tryin’ to figure out what they mean. Joseph, Daniel, them fellers were good at it. Me, I just try to listen to my heart and see what the Lord’s tryin’ to tell me. Sometimes it’s clear as day, other times it’s like tryin’ to catch smoke with your bare hands.
So, what does it all mean? Well, I ain’t no preacher, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. But I reckon that dreamin’ of a pianer is about findin’ harmony in your life, usin’ your talents, and fixin’ what’s broken. It’s about listenin’ to the music of your soul and tryin’ to make it as beautiful as you can. And most importantly, it’s about prayin’ for guidance and trustin’ in the Lord to lead you on the right path.
And if you don’t understand it right away, don’t fret. Sometimes the Lord works in mysterious ways, like a seed that takes a while to sprout. Just keep your heart open, and the answer will come when it’s meant to.
That’s what I think anyway. Now, pass me that cup of tea, would ya?
