Tarot Cards Tower Meaning: What Does The Tower Card Mean?

So, everyone gets spooked by The Tower card, right? Like it’s the end of the world or something. I used to be the same way.

I remember pulling it once, years back. I wasn’t doing a big fancy spread, just a quick one-card draw for the day ahead. Pulled The Tower. My stomach just dropped. You hear all the stuff – chaos, destruction, everything falling apart. It felt like a bad omen, you know?

That Morning Felt Wrong

I tried to just brush it off. Like, okay, maybe just stub my toe really bad or spill coffee everywhere. Tried to think small scale. But the feeling lingered all morning. That specific heavy feeling you get when you know something’s off but you can’t put your finger on it.

Well, the call came around lunchtime. It was work. They were doing a massive “restructure”. That’s the fancy word they used. Bottom line, my whole department was gone. Just like that. No warning, no discussion. Pack your desk, security walking you out. Felt exactly like they say – a bomb went off in my life. Suddenly, everything I thought was stable was just… rubble.

Total Chaos Ensued

Honestly, the next few weeks were a blur. Panic mostly. How was I gonna pay rent? What do I even do next? It was pure chaos inside my head and in my life. Scrambling to update resumes, making calls, feeling totally lost. It was scary, properly scary. Change nobody asks for.

  • Felt like the rug was pulled right out.
  • Suddenly no routine, no security.
  • Had to rebuild everything from scratch, mentally too.

Looking Back Now

It took time, a lot of it. Found a new job eventually, different field actually. And you know what? Looking back, that old job… it was okay, but I was stuck. Comfortable, yeah, but not really going anywhere. That “restructure”? It forced me out of something I probably would’ve just stayed in forever out of inertia.

So, The Tower. Do I like seeing it now? Not really, still gives me a little jolt. But I don’t freak out the same way. Sometimes things need to fall apart, drastically, so you can build something different. Something better, maybe. It’s like that card knew I needed a hard reset, even if I didn’t want to admit it. It wasn’t evil, just… blunt. Very, very blunt.

It’s weird how these things work out. You fight the change kicking and screaming, then later you see it was the only way forward. Still sucks going through it though, make no mistake.
