Learn the Ex Tarot Spread: Easy Guide for Relationship Insights

Okay, here’s my blog post about my “ex tarot spread” experience, written in a casual, conversational tone, using simple HTML tags for formatting:

So, I decided to try out this “ex tarot spread” thing I saw online. I’ve been kinda hung up on my ex lately (don’t judge!), and I figured, why not? Maybe the cards could give me some, uh, “cosmic insight.”

First, I cleared my space. I lit a candle (vanilla, my fave), put on some chill music, and tried to get my mind right. You know, gotta set the mood. Then I shuffled my deck, focusing on my ex and the whole messy situation. I cut the deck three times, like I read somewhere you’re supposed to.

The Spread

The spread itself had, like, five cards. Here’s what I did, step-by-step:

  • Card 1: Represents the past relationship. I laid that down first, face up.
  • Card 2: Showed my ex’s current feelings. Placed that to the right of the first card.
  • Card 3: My current feelings. That went below card one.
  • Card 4: Any blocks between us. This one went above card one.
  • Card 5:The Potentail future for us. This card was placed at the very top.

I won’t bore you with every card I pulled, but let’s just say it was…interesting. The “past relationship” card was pretty spot-on, reminding me of the good times (and some of the bad). My ex’s “current feelings” card was kinda confusing, to be honest. Maybe they’re as mixed up as I am.

My own “feelings” card? Well, let’s just say it confirmed I’m still a work in progress. No big surprise there. The “blocks” card was a bit of a downer, pointing out some obvious issues we never really dealt with.

The “advice” card was all that I had hoped for to be honest! It was telling me what i needed to do to get my ex back or to let them go for good!

After I laid out all the cards, I just sat there for a while, looking at them and thinking. I didn’t have any “aha!” moments, but it did help me organize my thoughts a bit. I jotted down some notes in my journal about each card and how it related to my situation.

Honestly, I’m not sure if this tarot spread gave me any concrete answers. But it did give me a framework for reflecting on things. It was like a guided meditation, almost. I felt a little calmer afterward, even if I’m still not totally sure what the future holds.

I might try this again sometime. Maybe with a different spread, or maybe just focusing on myself instead of my ex. It’s definitely a good way to spend some quiet time and get in touch with your intuition, whatever that means.
