Okay, so I’ve been getting really into tarot lately. And, of course, because I love dragons, I had to see what kind of dragon-themed decks were out there. Let me tell you, the journey to find the perfect deck was a bit of an adventure in itself!
First, I scoured the internet. Just typed in “dragon tarot decks” and, boom, tons of options popped up. I spent a good couple of hours just browsing images and reading descriptions. Some were super cheesy, with cartoonish dragons. Others were really dark and intense, which isn’t quite my vibe.
I narrowed it down to a few that looked promising, based purely on the artwork. I’m a very visual person, so the art is super important to me.
Digging Deeper
- Checked out reviews. I needed to know if the cards were good quality, if they shuffled well, and if the accompanying guidebook was any good.
- Watched some unboxing videos. Seeing the cards in someone’s hands, getting a feel for the size and texture, is way better than just looking at product photos.
- Compared prices. Some of these decks are expensive! I had to decide if the coolness factor was worth the extra cash.
After all that research, I finally settled on a deck that I’m absolutely in love with. The artwork is stunning – powerful, elegant dragons, but with a touch of whimsy. The cards themselves feel great, they’re nice and sturdy, and they shuffle like a dream.
And the guidebook? Actually helpful! It gives some good interpretations for each card, and it even has some dragon-specific spreads to try. I’ve been practicing with it every day, just doing simple one-card pulls to get a feel for the deck. It’s been so much fun, and I’m already feeling a connection to the cards.
So, yeah, that’s my dragon tarot deck story. It took some time and effort, but finding the perfect deck was totally worth it. If you’re thinking about getting into tarot, and you love dragons, definitely do your research and find a deck that speaks to you!
