angel number 10101

Okay, so I’ve been seeing 10101 everywhere lately. On clocks, license plates, receipts… it was getting kinda freaky. I’m not usually one for “signs,” but this felt a little too persistent to ignore. So, I did what anyone in 2024 would do: I Googled it.

Turns out, 10101 is an “angel number.” I’m still a bit skeptical, but the general idea is that it’s a message from, well, angels, or the universe, or something. The gist of it, from what I gathered, is that it’s about big changes and personal growth. Basically, shaking things up and getting rid of old baggage.

My Little Experiment Begins

I decided to roll with it. I mean, what did I have to lose? I figured I’d try to be more mindful of the things in my life that weren’t really working for me anymore. You know, the stuff you just keep doing out of habit, even if it makes you miserable.

For me, it was a few things:

  • Doomscrolling social media. Seriously, hours wasted every day just making myself feel bad.
  • Staying up way too late. I’m a morning person (or at least, I want to be), but I was constantly sabotaging myself.
  • Saying “yes” to everything. Even when I was already overloaded. Classic people-pleaser move.

The “Letting Go” Phase

This was the hard part. It’s not like you can just flip a switch and suddenly stop doing things you’ve been doing for years. First,I tackled the social media * of deleting every app entirely(I tried it, failed), I set time limits on them. Baby steps, folks.

The late-night thing was a bit trickier. I started by setting an alarm…not to wake up, but to go to bed. It sounds silly, but it actually helped. I also tried to make my bedroom more of a “sleep sanctuary” – no phone, no TV, just a good book.

The “saying no” part… well, that’s still a work in progress. I’m getting better at it, though. I started with small things, like declining extra work projects that weren’t really my responsibility. It felt amazing.

Embracing the New (and Scary)

The internet also said 10101 was about embracing new opportunities. I decided take online class, that I want learn for a long *’s totally outside my comfort zone, but hey, that’s the point, right?

Honestly, the whole thing has been surprisingly…good. I’m not saying I’m suddenly a perfect human being, but I definitely feel like I’m on a better path. I’m more productive, I’m sleeping better, and I’m generally just happier.

So, is 10101 a magic number? Maybe, maybe not. But it was definitely the kick in the pants I needed to make some positive changes in my life. If you’re seeing it everywhere too, maybe it’s a sign for you, too. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence. Either way, it might be worth paying attention to. You never know what you might discover about yourself.
