Accurate Free Work Tarot: Find Your Dream Job

Ok, I understand. Here’s my blog post, mimicking the style you provided:

Free Work Tarot: My Experiment Gone (Mostly) Right

So, I had this crazy idea, right? I wanted to offer free tarot readings online, but with a twist. Not just random readings, but targeted ones focused on career paths and work-related issues. Why? Well, I was kinda bored, needed to brush up my tarot skills, and figured I could maybe help some folks out in the process.

First thing I did was slap together a basic website. I’m talking real basic – a landing page with a description of what I was offering, a simple contact form, and a disclaimer that I’m not a professional advisor and this is just for fun. I used some free website builder; don’t even remember which one. Took me like an afternoon.

Then, I created a few social media accounts to promote it. Mostly Instagram and a little bit of Twitter. Started posting some general tarot stuff, you know, pretty pictures of cards and vague inspirational quotes. Hashtags for days! It felt kinda silly, but I figured I had to start somewhere.

Next came the hard part: figuring out how to actually do the readings online. I decided on email readings. Seemed the easiest to manage. People would fill out the contact form with their question about work, and I’d pull some cards and send them back my interpretation.

The first few requests were… rough. I was rusty with my card meanings, and trying to translate that into actual career advice was harder than I thought. I spent way too long on each reading, agonizing over every detail. Some were okay, some were definitely not my best work. I think one person was even a little bit annoyed by my reading, haha.

I realized I needed a system. So, I created a few spread templates specifically for work-related questions. Things like “What’s my ideal career?”, “What are my strengths at work?”, and “What’s blocking my career advancement?”. This saved me a ton of time and helped me focus my interpretations.

I also started keeping a log of each reading – the question, the cards, my interpretation, and any feedback I got. This was HUGE. It helped me track my progress, identify areas where I was struggling, and refine my spreads and interpretations over time.

Slowly but surely, I started getting better. My readings became more insightful, my interpretations more confident. People started leaving positive feedback. Some even sent me small thank-you gifts (which was totally unexpected but very appreciated!).

I kept doing it for a few months, a couple of readings a week. It was actually pretty fun! I learned a lot about tarot, improved my communication skills, and even got a better understanding of different career paths and challenges.

Here’s the kicker: all that “free work” actually led to paid work. Someone who received a reading from me was so impressed that they recommended me to their company, which needed someone to write some articles about – get this – tarot and career planning! I know, right? Talk about a full-circle moment.

So, yeah, that’s the story of my free work tarot experiment. It was a little chaotic, a little stressful at times, but ultimately a really rewarding experience. Would I do it again? Absolutely! Maybe with a few tweaks, but definitely. You never know where these crazy ideas might lead you.
