Hey everyone, it’s been a while! Today, I wanna talk about something a bit different – Apache tear stones. Yeah, those little black rocks. I’ve been messing around with them for a few weeks now, and I’ve got some thoughts to share.
Getting Started
So, first off, I got my hands on a bunch of these Apache tear stones. They’re basically volcanic glass, kinda like obsidian but smaller and rounder. I found them at this new age shop downtown, the kind with all the crystals and incense. I bought a small bag, not really knowing what to expect. They’re kinda cool looking, all smooth and shiny.
Experimenting
I started carrying a couple in my pocket every day. Just to see if I felt any different. I read online that they’re supposed to be good for grounding and protection. I’m not usually into that, but hey, why not give it a shot? I also tried placing them around my workspace, on my desk and near my computer. Again, just to see what happened. And I meditated with them. Well, I tried to. I’m not the best at meditating, but I held an Apache tear in each hand and focused on my breathing for like 10 minutes. Not gonna lie, I felt a bit calmer afterward.
Digging Deeper
Then, I started doing some more reading about these stones. There’s this sad story about how they’re connected to Apache warriors and their families. Apparently, the stones are supposed to be the tears of the women who lost their loved ones in battle. A sad legend is about the 75 brave Apache warriors who died, but with them had died the great fighting spirit of the Pinal Apaches. The spirits were greatly saddened and made a stone where the tears of the Apache women and their loved ones hit the ground called the Apache Tear.
My Thoughts
Honestly, I don’t know if I believe all the spiritual stuff. But I do think these stones have a certain something. Maybe it’s just the power of suggestion, but I feel a bit more centered when I have them around. They’re like a little reminder to stay calm and focused. Plus, they’re pretty to look at. I compared them with regular Black Obsidian, it seems like Apache Tear Obsidian has a more gentle energy than regular Black Obsidian.
Conclusion
So, that’s my little adventure with Apache tear stones. It’s not exactly life-changing, but it’s been an interesting experience. If you’re curious about crystals and their supposed powers, these might be a good place to start. They’re not too expensive, and they’re kinda neat to have around.
