Yesterday, I bumped into this interesting thing called “Attitude Number,” and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” So, I started digging around to figure out what it’s all about.
First, I needed to find my own Attitude Number. The whole process is pretty simple, just a bit of adding and reducing. You basically take your birthday and keep adding the numbers until you get a single digit.
Here’s how I did it:
- My birthday is July 24, 1992.
- So, in number form, that’s 07/24/1992.
- I started by adding the month and day: 0 + 7 + 2 + 4 = 13.
- Then, because 13 isn’t a single digit, I added those two numbers: 1 + 3 = 4.
- Next, I added the digits of the year: 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21.
- Again, I added the two digits of 21 together: 2+1=3.
- Finally I add the results together:3+4=7.
- So, 7 it is! My attitude number is 7.
It’s all a straightforward thing. The trickiest part, I guess, is making sure you don’t mess up the addition. Once I got my number, I did a little more digging to see what it supposedly means, but the important part for me was the process of actually calculating it. I do love calculating things.
