Okay, so I’ve been feeling a little, you know, single lately. And I saw this “love tarot spread for singles” thing online and thought, “Why not?” I mean, what have I got to lose, right?
First, I grabbed my trusty tarot deck. It’s this one with really pretty artwork, I got it at a ren faire a few years back. I shuffled the cards, you know, really focused on my question. What does my love life look like right now, and where should I be focusing?
The Spread
I think there were a few variations of this spread, but I chose a simple one with 3 cards.
- Card 1: My current love situation.
- Card 2: What I should be focusing on.
- Card 3: Potential future outcome.
I laid out the cards, face down, and then flipped them over one by one.
My Reading
- Card 1 (My current love situation): The Five of Cups. Ouch. This one is usually about loss, disappointment, maybe even wallowing a bit. Yeah, that feels pretty accurate. I’ve been feeling a bit down about a couple of recent dating app experiences.
- Card 2 (What I should be focusing on): The Star. Okay, this is much better! The Star is about hope, renewal, finding your inspiration. It felt like a reminder to not give up, to keep believing that good things are coming.
- Card 3 (Potential future outcome): Two of Cups. Whoa! This one is often about partnership, connection, a balanced and loving relationship. I definitely took a deep breath when I saw this one. Could this be a sign?
So, basically, I went from feeling a bit “woe is me” to, well, hopeful! The tarot showed me my current downer mood, but then pushed me to focus on hope and the potential for a real, good connection. It felt like a little nudge to keep putting myself out there, but to do it with a more positive attitude. It was a fun, and I think helpful, way to use a tarot deck!
