Okay, here’s my blog post about trying out a tarot relationship spread, written in a casual, personal style:
So, I’ve been getting into tarot lately. It’s kinda fun, kinda spooky, and definitely makes you think. I saw this “relationship spread” thing online and, well, I’m single, but I figured, why not? Maybe the cards could tell me something about my future love life, or even just about my relationships with friends and family. I was curious, so I grabbed my deck and gave it a shot.
First, I shuffled the cards. A lot. Like, until my hands got tired. I wanted to make sure they were good and mixed up, you know? No lingering energy from the last reading. Then, I laid them out in the pattern I found. It was a simple one, just three cards in a row.
- The first card was supposed to represent “me” in the relationship.
- The second was the “other person” (whoever that is!).
- The third was the “relationship” itself.
I flipped over the first card…The five of pentacles. I did not like to see that.
Then the second card… The Lovers. I thought to myself…interesting.
And, finally for the third card… Page of Cups. I thought there could be a potential opportunity in the future.
I spent a good chunk of time just staring at the cards.I’m still figuring this whole tarot thing out, so it’s not like I instantly knew what it all meant. I grabbed that little guidebook that came with the deck and looked up each card. The guidebook can be confusing. It’s full of all these flowery descriptions and symbolic meanings. I tried to relate it back to the questions I had in my mind.
My Interpretation Attempt
I spent some time to read the cards and to relate to myself and the question.
After the interpretation and relation, I felt a lot of relief and had a better understanding about the spread. I will do it again for sure to see how it goes and to see if the reading changes or stays the same.
Overall? It was…interesting. I’m not sure I got any concrete answers about my future husband or anything, I need to practice more. It did make me think about how I approach relationships, the cards were pretty spot-on about some of my current friendships. So, maybe there’s something to this tarot thing after all. I’ll probably try it again sometime, maybe with a different spread. If anything crazy happens, I’ll keep you guys posted!
