Best Tarotul Rider Waite Deck? Find Yours with This Quick Review!

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into Tarot for a while, and I finally took the plunge! I decided to go with the classic Rider-Waite deck, you know, the one everyone seems to recommend for beginners. It’s called “tarotul rider waite,” I think. I guess “tarotul” just means “the tarot” or something.

First thing I did was, obviously, buy the deck. I looked around, the price was good, I got it!

Next, I opened the box and, wow, those colors! They’re way more vibrant than I expected from seeing pictures online. The cards felt good in my hands too, not too flimsy, not too stiff. Kinda perfect.

Getting to Know the Cards

  • I spent a good chunk of the first day just looking at each card. Seriously, just flipping through them, taking in the imagery. The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess… so much going on in each one!
  • Then, I grabbed the little booklet that came with the deck. It has basic meanings for each card, upright and reversed. It was helpful, a good starting point, but I knew I’d need more than that.
  • So, I hit up the internet. I found some websites and blogs that went into more detail about the symbolism, the history, all that good stuff. It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest, but also super interesting.

My First Reading

After a few days of studying, I decided to try a simple three-card spread – you know, Past, Present, Future. I shuffled the deck, really focusing on my question (which was something pretty basic, like “What should I focus on this week?”). I laid out the cards, and… well, it was kind of amazing.

The cards I drew seemed to really resonate with what’s been going on in my life. It wasn’t like a crystal ball prediction or anything, but it gave me a new perspective, some things to think about. It felt… insightful, I guess is the word.

I wrote down the cards I drew, and my initial interpretations. I also looked up some of the alternate meanings online, just to get a broader sense of things.

Honestly, I’m still processing it all. It’s a lot to take in! But I’m definitely hooked. I’m planning on doing more readings, maybe trying out some different spreads. I can see why people get so into this. It’s like a whole new language to learn, a way to tap into your intuition. Or something like that. Anyway, I’m excited to keep exploring!
