Alright, so let me tell you about this weird thing that happened with my bracelet the other day. You know, I’ve been wearing this bracelet for a while now, and it’s not just some random piece of jewelry. I got it during that trip to Bali last year, the one where I was trying to “find myself” or whatever.
Anyway, I’ve been wearing it pretty much every day since. I don’t know if I believe in all that spiritual stuff, but this bracelet started feeling like it was part of me. It was there when I got that promotion, when I met my boyfriend, and even during that really bad bout of food poisoning I had a few months back. Good times and bad, this bracelet was on my wrist.
So, the other day, I’m just doing my usual thing, making coffee, rushing to get ready for work, and bam! I look down, and the bracelet’s broken. Just snapped in two. My first thought was, “Seriously? Now?” I mean, I was already running late, and now I had a broken bracelet to deal with.

- Then, found my sewing kit – yeah, I’m that person who actually sews.
- Tried to stitch it back together with a leather needle and thread, but it looked terrible. Like, really terrible.
But then, I started thinking, maybe it’s not just about being late or having a messed-up bracelet. Maybe it’s a sign or something. I’ve heard people say that when a bracelet breaks, it means something. Some say it’s bad luck, but others say it’s like the end of something old and the start of something new.
I’m not sure what I believe, but I decided to take it as a sign to maybe change things up a bit. I’ve been feeling a little stuck lately, you know? Same old routine, same old problems. Maybe this broken bracelet is the universe telling me to shake things up. Or maybe I’m just overthinking the whole thing.
In the end, I didn’t wear the bracelet that day. I put the two pieces in a little box on my dresser. I guess we’ll see what happens next. Maybe I’ll get a new bracelet, or maybe I’ll just go without one for a while. Who knows? But it definitely got me thinking.
One more thing I have to say is that I think I did the right thing by not forcing it to be repaired. I have learned that some breaking things are signs that tell you to let go. Otherwise, it might bring some bad results. And if you are wondering whether it is a bad thing to break the bracelet on purpose. I would say, do not do it! You should let things happen naturally.
