Okay, so I’ve been meaning to try this “breakup tarot” thing for a while. You know, just for fun, to see what all the fuss is about. I grabbed my deck, the one I’ve had for like, ever, and decided to give it a whirl.
First, I kinda just sat there for a minute, holding the cards. Just trying to, like, clear my head and focus. I mean, It is all about energy and vibes for getting a good reading, right? I shuffled the deck a bunch of times, thinking about… well, you know, past relationships and all that messy stuff.
My little ritual
- Shuffle the cards: I shuffled, and shuffled, and shuffled some more.
- Cut the deck: I cut the deck into three piles, then put them back together in a different order.
- Fan out the cards: I fanned them out face down on the table. It looked pretty cool, actually.
- Focus on the Question in my head: I did not say anything just kept thinking on the stuff I want clarity from.
Then, I closed my eyes and picked three cards. Just went with my gut, you know? I laid them out in front of me, face down, one, two, three.
I flipped the first card. I felt a sense of relief as I flipped it, it was a good card representing what I brought to the relationship. Flipping over the second card represented the other person’s energy in the relationship. It did make sense, It was an okay card, nothing too crazy, just a little bit, not in alignment I guess. The third card, the “outcome” card, it’s all about where things went wrong or whatever. Let me tell you, it was a Tower moment, I won’t lie, I was surprised, at first, but after thinking for a bit, It was a pretty spot-on and an eye-opening experience.
It wasn’t, like, some magical revelation or anything. But it did make me think about things from a different perspective. It was more about seeing patterns, you know? Like, realizing what I tend to do in relationships, and what kind of people I attract.
I wouldn’t say it’s going to, like, solve all my problems or predict the future. I think the cards help put into light what you may subconsciously already feel, and sometimes getting it out there really helps, and I think It helps bring a little bit of awareness in the end!
