Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into angel tarot cards for a while now. I finally took the plunge and wanted to share my experience, from start to finish, with you all!
First, I got myself a deck. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, just something simple to start. I found one online that had pretty pictures and good reviews. Nothing fancy, just a basic deck.
Getting Started
Once the cards arrived, I was super excited! I opened the package and, I gotta say, the cards were even prettier in person. I spent some time just looking at each card, you know, getting a feel for the imagery and the vibes.
- I cleansed the deck. I just held them in my hands and imagined a white light surrounding them, clearing out any old energy. Some people use sage or crystals, but this felt right for me.
- Then, I shuffled the cards. A lot. I wanted to make sure they were good and mixed up, and also to kind of put my own energy into them.
My First Reading
I was a little nervous, not gonna lie. I decided to do a simple three-card spread: past, present, and future. I laid the cards out, face down, and then flipped them over one by one.
Honestly, I was surprised by how much the cards resonated with me! The “past” card totally reflected a situation I had been dealing with. The “present” card was spot-on about how I was feeling, and the “future” card gave me some hope and guidance for what’s to come.
After I got those cards, I picked up each of them and observed what message it sent to me from the picture. I closed my eyes to deeply feel it.
Making it a Routine
I don’t do readings every day, but now I did at least twice a week.I pulled a card each morning, just to get a sense of the day ahead, after my meditation. It’s become a nice little ritual, a way to connect with myself and get some perspective. Sometimes the cards are super clear, other times I have to think about them a bit. But it’s always interesting!
I’m still a beginner, for sure. But I’m loving the process of learning and exploring with angel tarot cards. It’s been a surprisingly fun and insightful experience.
