Career tarot reading: Find your dream job today!

Alright folks, gather ’round! Today, I’m spilling the beans on something a little different – my deep dive into career tarot. Yeah, you heard right, tarot. I know, I know, sounds kinda out there, but trust me, it was a trip!

So, it all started when I was feeling super stuck at work. Like, staring-at-the-same-spreadsheet-for-hours-without-actually-doing-anything stuck. I’d seen some folks online talking about using tarot for guidance, and I figured, “Hey, why not?” I mean, what did I have to lose, right?

First thing I did was grab a deck. I went with a Rider-Waite Smith deck because it’s like, the classic. Then I watched a bunch of YouTube videos to get the basics down. Keywords, spreads, the whole shebang. There’s a ton of free info out there, so I just soaked it all in like a sponge.

Then came the fun part: actually doing readings! I started with simple three-card spreads – Past, Present, Future. I’d shuffle the deck while focusing on my career questions, like, “What’s holding me back?” or “What opportunities are coming my way?” Then I’d lay out the cards and try to interpret them. At first, I was totally clueless. I was reading the guidebook non-stop.

But here’s the thing: the more I did it, the more intuitive it became. I started to connect with the cards on a deeper level. Instead of just memorizing meanings, I’d think about what the images and symbols meant to me. It’s like, the cards became a mirror, reflecting my own thoughts and feelings back at me.

One time, I did a reading about a potential job change. The cards were all about taking risks and stepping outside my comfort zone. Honestly, I was terrified! But the cards kept urging me forward. So, I took a deep breath and applied for a job that I thought was way out of my league.

And guess what? I got it! It was a tough transition, for sure. But it pushed me to learn new skills and grow in ways I never imagined. That tarot reading gave me the kick in the butt I needed to make a change I wasn’t sure I was ready for.

Now, I’m not saying tarot is some magic fortune-telling tool. I see it more as a way to tap into my intuition and gain a different perspective on my situation. It’s like having a conversation with myself, but with a deck of cards as my guide.

Here’s what I learned along the way:

  • Start small: Don’t try to learn everything at once. Focus on the basics first.
  • Trust your intuition: The guidebook is a good starting point, but don’t be afraid to go with your gut.
  • Practice, practice, practice: The more you do it, the better you’ll get.
  • It’s okay to be wrong: Tarot isn’t about predicting the future. It’s about exploring possibilities.

So, that’s my career tarot adventure! It was definitely a weird and wild ride, but it helped me gain clarity, confidence, and a whole new perspective on my career path. Give it a shot, you might surprise yourself!
