Okay, so last night I had this super vivid dream about my grandma, and it got me thinking – what do dreams about grandmothers even mean? I decided to do a little digging and thought I’d share my process, just in case anyone else is wondering the same thing.
My Dream Journal Entry
First things first, I grabbed my trusty dream journal. I always keep it by my bed. I scribbled down everything I could remember, as fast as I could, before the details faded away. It was mostly about her old house, the one with the creaky porch swing and the smell of cinnamon rolls always in the air. I remembered feeling really safe and loved in the dream.
The Google Deep Dive
Next, I fired up my laptop. Naturally, I googled “grandmother dream meaning”. I scrolled through a bunch of articles. Some were pretty woo-woo, talking about ancestral spirits and whatnot, but others seemed more grounded.
Sifting Through the Information
I focused on the articles that talked about symbolism. I learned that grandmothers in dreams can often represent:
- Wisdom and Guidance: Makes sense, right? Grandmas are usually full of advice.
- Nurturing and Security: That feeling of safety I had in the dream? Totally fits.
- Family and Tradition: My grandma was big on family traditions, so this resonated too.
- Unconditional Love: Grandma always there,no matter how badly you mess up.
Putting It All Together
After reading all that, I started to think about what’s been going on in my life lately. I’ve been feeling a bit lost and unsure about a big decision I have to make. Maybe my subconscious was sending me a message, reminding me to tap into my own inner wisdom (like my grandma’s!) and to remember the values she taught me. Or, maybe I just really miss her cinnamon rolls. Either way, it was interesting to explore!
It is also very possible that I just miss my * is always on my mind!
