Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while now, and I recently got into this “dark tarot” thing. It’s kinda spooky, but also really interesting. I wanted to try and figure out the decans, which is like, dividing each zodiac sign into three parts. It’s supposed to give you even more detail about your personality and stuff.
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my tarot deck – the one I usually use. Then, I looked up a chart online that showed which cards corresponded to each decan. It was a little confusing at first, because there are, like, 36 of these things!
The Process
I laid out all the Major Arcana cards, you know, The Fool, The Magician, all those guys. Those weren’t actually part of the decans, but I figured it would be good to have them there for reference.
Next, I focused on the Minor Arcana cards, the ones with the suits (Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles). These are the ones that actually connect to the decans. I started sorting them out based on the chart I found. So, like, the Two, Three, and Four of Wands went with the first three decans of Aries. It was kinda tedious, but I took it slow.
- I double-checked everything a bunch of times, because I didn’t want to mess it up.
- I wrote down the card and the decan it represented in my notebook.
Making Sense of It
After I had everything sorted, I started to look at the meanings of the cards and how they related to the decans. For example, I noticed that the cards associated with the first decan of each sign were often about new beginnings, while the ones in the third decan were more about completion.
Honestly, it takes a little bit to wrap your head around, I am still learning how the meanings all match, but it all makes sense. It’s like adding another layer of detail to the tarot readings.
