Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out what this whole “dream meaning ocean” thing is all about. It started a few weeks ago, I kept having these super vivid dreams where I was just surrounded by the ocean. Sometimes it was calm, sometimes it was like, a total hurricane. Super weird, right?

So, me being me, I started digging around. I mean, what else do you do when you’re dreaming about being lost at sea? First, I tried to remember the dreams. I grabbed a notebook and jotted down everything I could recall as soon as I woke up. Waves, no waves, sharks, whatever was there went into the notebook.
I found some stuff online about how the ocean in dreams can mean, like, your emotions and your subconscious. You know, the stuff you don’t really think about. And apparently, calm water means you’re chill, and stormy water means you’re freaking out about something. Makes sense, I guess.
- Dream 1: Huge waves crashing, I was on a tiny boat, felt totally out of control.
- Dream 2: Calm, clear water, I was swimming, felt super peaceful.
- Dream 3: I was drowning, but in this really weird, slow-motion way. Definitely anxious about that one.
Then I started looking at my own life. Was I stressed? Was I happy? Was I about to lose it over something dumb, like running out of coffee? Turns out, yeah, I was pretty stressed. Work’s been crazy, and I hadn’t been sleeping well. You can say my mind was pretty messed up during that period. I was really afraid of losing my job.
After collecting all the data, I decided to do some meditation. That really helps to calm me down. I started doing it every day, just for a few minutes, to clear my head. I also made an effort to go to bed earlier and not look at my phone before sleep.
You know what? It actually kind of helped. The ocean dreams became less frequent, and when I did have them, they were more chill, like that second one I wrote down. Still working on it, but it’s definitely less freaky than before. The stress is still there, but I feel like I’m handling it better. It’s like I’m learning to surf the waves instead of being crushed by them, you know?
So yeah, that’s my whole adventure with “dream meaning ocean.” Pretty wild ride, but I think I’m figuring it out. If you are curious about your dreams, I suggest you take a pen and paper next to your bed, so you won’t miss anything.
