Discover Celestial Tarot Card Meanings: Quick & Clear Definitions

Okay, so I’ve been getting really into tarot lately. Not just the usual Rider-Waite deck, but I found this gorgeous Celestial Tarot deck. The artwork is stunning, all constellations and dreamy colors. But the meanings? Totally different from what I was used to. So, I decided to dive in and really learn them, and I figured I’d document my process here.

Getting Started: So Many Cards!

First, I unboxed the deck and just…spread them all out. Seriously, all 78 cards. It was overwhelming! The little booklet that came with it was okay, but not super detailed. So, I knew I needed a better resource.

Finding My Guide

I spent a good hour just browsing, looking for websites, blogs, anything that could give me more insight. I wanted something beyond the basic “this card means this” definitions. There are some good ones, but I was after the deeper, more intuitive meaning.

Deep Diving into Each Card

This is where the real work (and fun!) began. I decided to tackle the cards in order, starting with the Major Arcana. For each card, I did the following:

  • Looked at the card’s imagery. Like, really looked. What colors stood out? What symbols did I recognize? What did the overall vibe feel like?
  • Read the booklet’s description. Just to get the basic idea.
  • Checked out other interpretations from my favourite source, taking notes on anything that resonated with me.
  • Journaled about the card. I wrote down my own thoughts, feelings, and any personal connections I made.

I’d grab my favorite cards and work through them.

Making it My Own

The journaling part was key. It wasn’t just about memorizing meanings; it was about connecting with the cards on a personal level. For example, The Star card in this deck shows a beautiful, serene woman pouring water under a starry sky. The traditional meaning is about hope and inspiration, but for me, it also brought up feelings of peace and connection to something bigger than myself. I wrote all that down.

Practice, Practice, Practice!

After going through all the cards (which took a while, I’m not gonna lie!), I started doing daily draws. Just one card each morning, to see how it related to my day. This helped me see the meanings in action, and solidified my understanding even more. Sometimes, I’d even try to find a song in my playlist that matched the card of the day to keep me company.

Still Learning!

I’m definitely still learning. Tarot is a journey, not a destination, right? But this process of really digging into the Celestial Tarot meanings has been so rewarding. I feel like I’m not just reading cards; I’m connecting with a whole new language of symbolism and intuition. And it’s pretty magical. I also started sketching out the cards in my notebook. I’m not a good artist, but it helped me notice all the small details.
