Easy Tarot Spread for Relationship Problems: Get Answers Now!

Okay, so I’ve been getting really into tarot lately. It’s been surprisingly helpful for, like, everything. Today, I decided to try a specific spread I saw online – a “tarot spread for relationship.” I figured, why not? My relationship with my partner has been a little… bumpy… lately. I wanted some clarity, some insight, you know?

First, I grabbed my favorite deck – the one with the really pretty watercolor illustrations. I always feel more connected to it. Then I cleared my space. This is important! I lit a candle (lavender, because it’s calming), put on some chill music (no lyrics, just vibes), and shuffled the cards while focusing on my relationship. I asked the cards, out loud, “What do I need to know about my relationship with [Partner’s Name] right now?”

The Spread

The spread itself was pretty simple, just five cards:

  • Card 1: Me in the relationship.
  • Card 2: My partner in the relationship.
  • Card 3: The current dynamic between us.
  • Card 4: What needs to be addressed/worked on.
  • Card 5: Potential outcome if we work on it.

After I laid out, I used my intuition and tarot meanings guide book.

After shuffling, I cut the deck into three piles and then restacked them. Then, I fanned out the cards and drew five, one by one, placing them in the positions for the spread.

Okay, so here’s what I got, and my very rough interpretation:

  • Me: The Empress. Okay, I felt good about this. It suggested I was nurturing, caring, maybe even a little too giving in the relationship.
  • My Partner: The Five of Pentacles. Ouch. This one felt… not great. It suggested feelings of insecurity, maybe feeling left out or neglected.
  • Dynamic: The Lovers. This was interesting! It pointed to choices, partnerships, but also potential conflict or needing to make a decision.
  • Needs Work: The Seven of Cups. This one felt confusing at first. It’s about illusions, choices, maybe feeling overwhelmed by options or not seeing things clearly.
  • Potential Outcome: The Sun. YES! This card is all about joy, success, happiness. It felt like a really positive sign.

Conclusion of tarot reading

So, after sitting with the cards for a while and journaling about my interpretations, I felt like I had a better handle on things. It seemed like I might be so focused on being the “perfect” partner that I’m maybe neglecting my partner’s actual needs, making them feel insecure. The “dynamic” card (The Lovers) suggested we need to make some conscious choices together. And the “needs work” card (Seven of Cups) pointed to needing to get real about the situation, to stop focusing on the idealized version of the relationship and address the actual issues. The Sun card gave me hope that if we do the work, things can be really good.

I’m definitely going to talk to my partner about this. Not in a “the tarot cards told me” way, but in a “I’ve been doing some thinking, and I want to make sure we’re both feeling good about things” way. Tarot isn’t magic, but it can be a really cool tool for self-reflection and gaining new perspectives. I’m feeling a lot more optimistic about things now, and ready to have a real, honest conversation.
