Well, y’know, folks always come ask me about how to make things go smoother in life, especially when the new year comes around. Now, 2024 is coming, and I reckon it’s a good time to talk about these so-called “feng shui” things. Now, don’t be confused by all them fancy words. I’ll tell you simple stuff that even a country granny like me can understand, and it’s gonna help you out this year!

First thing, y’all should know that in 2024, it’s all about the feng shui cures for a better life. You see, the stars in the sky, or whatever they call ‘em, they move around every year, and some of them bring good luck, while others—well, they ain’t too friendly. But don’t worry! I’m gonna tell ya how to handle it.
One thing that might cause a little trouble in 2024 is the Quarrelsome Star. This star can make folks all angry and fighting, so you gotta watch out. If you put a little effort in fixing things up, you’ll keep that bad energy away. I heard the best cure for this is to put some 3 Harmony Animals in the center of your house. What are them animals, you ask? Well, it’s the 8-Legged Lion, the Fur-bearing Fish, and the Makara Dragon. Sounds fancy, but really it’s just a few statues to help you keep things peaceful. These animals are supposed to bring harmony and calmness, and I reckon that’s exactly what we need to keep those arguments at bay!
Now, don’t go thinking you need a whole bunch of these statues. Just place them in the middle of your house, where everyone passes by, and that’ll do the trick. It’s like putting up a good luck charm, just in a fancy way!
Besides them 3 animals, you might want to add a few lucky things around your house or workplace. I heard that things like green jade plants are real good for bringing in some good fortune. You can also get yourself a dragon statue—now, don’t be afraid of dragons, they’re good luck, trust me—and if you’ve got room, a bamboo tree is mighty fine for bringing in some positive vibes too.
These little changes won’t cost ya too much, but I tell you what, they can make a big difference. Just like when you hang a lucky red envelope on the door, it’s all about that energy you invite into your space. I’m no expert in all this feng shui stuff, but I know a little change here and there can make things better.

Now, besides them animals and plants, you gotta be careful about where you sit or sleep. The SouthEast area of your house in 2024—well, that’s where the Grand Duke Jupiter or Tai Sui hangs out. He’s not the nicest fella, so you don’t want to mess with him. If you got any furniture or beds in that direction, better move ‘em around, ‘cause Tai Sui doesn’t like being disturbed. Same goes for the South—there’s this thing they call The Three Killings there, and trust me, you don’t want to invite that into your life!
Speaking of which, in the West part of the house, there’s this Misfortune Star #5 hanging around. That’s another one to watch out for, so don’t leave any important stuff in that area. If you can, hang a metal wind chime there or something to chase that bad luck away.
And now, I reckon we need to talk about some other spots. The SouthEast has its own little trouble with the Illness Star #2, and we surely don’t want any sicknesses around, do we? The best thing to do is to make sure there’s no clutter, keep things neat, and maybe add a little bit of metal to that area, like a metal bell or something, to help get rid of that illness star.
Last but not least, the Center of your home is important too. If it’s all messy or disorganized, it could bring quarrels and confusion. So, keep it tidy and calm, and maybe burn a little incense now and then to keep things nice and peaceful.
Well, that’s about all the feng shui wisdom I can share with y’all. Just remember, it ain’t hard to make these simple changes to bring a bit of good fortune your way. You don’t need to go spend a lot of money—just a little effort and some good intentions will do. And who knows? Maybe 2024 will be your luckiest year yet!
