Okay, so I’ve been getting really into tarot lately. It’s been a fun way to, like, reflect and think about stuff, you know? Today, I decided to focus on understanding the “Faith” card, because, honestly, I wasn’t super clear on what it meant.
First, I grabbed my favorite tarot deck – the one with the pretty watercolor illustrations. I shuffled the cards, really trying to focus my energy and think about what “faith” means to me personally.
Then, I laid out a simple three-card spread. I didn’t get too fancy, it was just Past, Present, and Future. I flipped the cards over one by one and, of course, I needed to see which card represents “Faith.”
- Past: The card position was empty. I thought maybe I forgot to shuffle well.
- Present: I pulled The High Priestess! Okay, interesting… This card is all about intuition and inner wisdom.
- Future: And for the future, I got The Star. This one felt really positive, it’s about hope, inspiration, and, yeah, faith!
So, the Faith card does not clearly show up, I started Googling around to get some other perspectives on cards meaning. I found a few different websites that talked about The High Priestess, and The Star. Some mentioned it in a more spiritual context, others talked about trusting your gut, and some even connected it to religious beliefs. Also, I figured out why the Past position was empty, which means the past did not relate to faith.
My Takeaway
After spending a good hour or so reading and reflecting, here’s what I came up with. For me, “faith” isn’t necessarily about religion. It’s more about believing in something bigger than myself, trusting my intuition (hello, High Priestess!), and having hope for the future (The Star!).
It’s about having that inner knowing that things will work out, even when they feel messy or uncertain. And it’s also about having faith in myself – trusting my abilities and my * was a pretty cool little deep dive, and I feel like I have a much better understanding of the “Faith” concept now. Maybe I’ll try a more complex spread next time!
