Get a Former Flame Tarot Reading: Understand Your Past Relationship

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to try this “Former Flame Tarot” spread for ages, and today I finally did it! I’ve had this… lingering question about a past relationship, and I figured, why not let the cards have a say?

First, I grabbed my trusty tarot deck – the one I always use when I need some real talk. I shuffled the cards, like, really well, while focusing on the situation and this person. You know, trying to get my energy into the cards and all that.

Then, I laid out the cards according to the Former Flame spread I found online. It’s a pretty simple one, just five cards in a sort of cross shape:

  • Card 1: The Past – How things were.
  • Card 2: The Present – Where I’m at now.
  • Card 3: The Future – What might happen.
  • Card 4: What I Need to Know – The hidden stuff.
  • Card 5: The Outcome – Where it’s all headed.

I flipped the first card, and boom! It was, the five of the swords. Okay, I thought, that’s accurate – things were definitely tense and conflict-ridden at the end.

The second card, representing the present, It was, the seven of pentacles, waiting and patience. Totally resonated with me. I’ve been giving it time, letting things settle, and not rushing into anything.

The third card, the potential future, it’s the knight of the cups. To be honest, this one threw me a bit. Maybe there’s a chance for a new emotional beginning, or maybe it just means someone new is coming along. It’s one of those cards that makes you go “Hmm…”

Digging Deeper

Card four, “What I Need to Know,” This one hit me hard. It was a reminder that I need to focus on my own happiness and not get caught up in old patterns. Kind of a “duh” moment, but the cards have a way of making you face the obvious, you know?

And finally, the outcome card, it was, the Temperance. Things will balance, just be patient. I have to be patient, maybe this tarot thing does work.

Overall, the reading was…interesting. It didn’t give me a clear-cut “yes” or “no” answer (which, let’s be real, tarot rarely does), but it did give me a lot to think about. It helped me see the situation from different angles and realize that maybe I’m not as confused as I thought I was. I definitely feel a bit more at peace with the whole thing, which is a win in my book.
