Okay, so I’ve been getting into tarot cards lately, and I wanted a super simple way to get quick “yes” or “no” answers. I didn’t want to deal with complicated spreads, just a straight-up answer. So I decided to make my own “yes or no” list for the cards. Here’s how I did it:
First, I grabbed my tarot deck and went through each card one by one. I held each card, thought about its general meaning, and decided if it felt more like a “yes,” a “no,” or a “maybe.” It was pretty intuitive, really. I didn’t overthink it.
I used a plain old notebook and created three columns: “Yes,” “No,” and “Maybe/Unclear.” Then, as I went through the deck, I jotted down the name of each card under the column that felt right.
My Tarot Yes/No List
-
Yes Cards:
I’ve put the cards like The Sun, The Star, The World in this column. I found those cards give me very positive vibes.
-
No Cards:
I put cards like The Tower,The five of swords and so on, cause obviously, those cards bring the opposite meaning as the Yes Cards above.
-
Maybe Cards:
Cards like The Moon,The Chariot and some other cards, they can be positive and negative, so I put them here.
After I categorized all 78 cards, I had my list! Now, when I want a quick answer, I just shuffle the deck, ask my question, and draw a card. I check my list to see if it falls under “yes,” “no,” or “maybe.”
It’s been pretty fun! Of course, it’s not a replacement for a full tarot reading, but it’s great for those moments when I just need a quick bit of guidance. And hey, it’s my own personalized system, so it feels extra special.
It is important to notice that, my list is not the standard one, so the list can be different from person to person. You can make your own list and have fun!
