Get your tarot 3 card reading online now! Find clarity and guidance with this popular spread.

Okay, so today I wanted to share something I did earlier. Just a simple three-card tarot reading for myself. Nothing too fancy, you know?

Setting Things Up

First things first, I needed a quiet spot. Found my usual corner, cleared the table a bit. Grabbed my favorite deck – it’s kinda worn, feels comfortable in my hands. I just sat there for a minute, trying to quiet my mind. It’s important, I think, to not rush into it all stressed out.

I had this thing nagging at the back of my mind, a situation I wasn’t sure how to approach. So, that became my focus. Didn’t need a super specific question, just held the general feeling of the situation in my head.

The Shuffle and Draw

Then, I started shuffling. I don’t have a set way, really. Just shuffle until it feels right. Sometimes it takes a while, other times it’s quick. Today felt pretty normal. I cut the deck into three piles, just because, and then put them back together.

Spreading the cards out face down, I hovered my hand over them. Again, just going by feel. Pulled out three cards that felt… well, felt like the ones to pick. Simple as that.

Looking at the Cards

I laid them out in a line. Past, Present, Future. That’s the spread I usually go for when I want a quick look at something.

  • Card 1 (Past): Turned it over. Okay, that made some sense, reflecting stuff that had already happened related to this situation.
  • Card 2 (Present): Flipped this one. It felt… pretty accurate for right now. The energy it showed matched how things feel currently.
  • Card 3 (Future): The last one. This one gave me something to think about. Not predicting the lottery win or anything, just showing a possible direction or feeling based on the first two cards.

I didn’t pull out any books or look up meanings right away. Just looked at the pictures, the overall vibe of each card, and how they seemed to flow together. Sometimes the images themselves tell you more than the official meanings, you know?

Spent maybe ten minutes just sitting with them, thinking about how Card 1 led to Card 2, and how Card 2 might lead towards Card 3. It wasn’t about fortune-telling, more like reflecting on the situation through a different lens. It helped me connect the dots in my own head.

Afterward, I gathered the cards, put them back in their box. Felt a bit clearer, like I’d untangled a small knot in my thoughts. That’s usually what I get out of it – a bit of clarity, a different perspective. Just wanted to share how I went about it today. Nothing mystical, just a practical little routine.
