Okay, so I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while now, and I wanted to try something I saw online – a simple “yes” or “no” reading using the Temperance card. I’m no expert, just having fun, so don’t take this as gospel or anything!
First, I shuffled my deck like I always do. I cut the deck. Nothing fancy, just making sure the cards felt “right” in my hands, you know?
My Question Time
Then I held the deck and focused on my question. It was something pretty straightforward: “Will I finish that craft project this weekend?” (It’s a knitted scarf, and I’m really slow at knitting.)
I flipped over the top card, and… it wasn’t Temperance. Darn it.
I put the card, and shuffle the deck again. I did this a couple more times. Still no Temperance.I almost give up, then I got it! I draw Temperance card!
- Temperance upright is supposed to be a “yes,” but a gentle, balanced yes. Like, “Yes, but don’t rush it, find a good flow.”
- Reversed, it’s more of a “no,” or at least a “not right now, things are out of whack.”
So, I finally pulled the Temperance card. And guess what? It was upright!
I took that as a good sign. It felt like the cards were saying, “Yeah, you’ll probably finish it, but don’t stress about it. Enjoy the process.” Which, honestly, is good advice for me anyway. I tend to get impatient with my hobbies.
So, that was my little experiment. Super simple, maybe a little silly, but it was fun. And it reminded me to chill out and enjoy my knitting, even if I don’t finish the scarf this weekend. I think I learned how to play * gave me the result what I want.
