Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with tarot cards, specifically the Jack of Clubs. I’ve always been a bit curious about this stuff, so I figured, why not give it a shot? First, I grabbed my deck of tarot cards. They’re nothing fancy, just a standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up a while back.
Getting Started
I cleared a space on my table, you know, to get the right vibe going. Then, I shuffled the deck a few times. I’m not really sure how you’re supposed to do it, but I just did what felt right. I cut the deck into three piles and then put them back together. Kind of like making a wish, I guess.
Focusing on the Jack of Clubs
Now, with the Jack of Clubs in mind, I started laying out the cards face down. I wasn’t following any specific spread, just placed them randomly. I guess it would be called a freeform spread? Once I felt like I had enough cards out, I flipped them over one by one. I was looking for the Jack of Clubs, obviously.
The Search
- I turned over the first card, nothing.
- Then the second, still not the Jack of Clubs.
- This went on for a while, flipping cards and not finding the one I wanted. It was a little frustrating, I gotta admit. I mean, how many cards are in this deck?
Finally, Success!
But then, there it was! I flipped over a card, and boom, the Jack of Clubs was staring right at me. It felt pretty cool, like I had accomplished something, even though it was probably just luck. Still, I took a moment to look at the card. The image, the colors, all of it. I just let myself think about what this card might mean.
Reflecting
After finding the Jack of Clubs, I gathered up the cards and put them back in their box. I sat there for a bit, just thinking about the whole experience. It was more interesting than I expected. It’s a simple exercise, but it felt significant. Maybe I’ll try this again sometime, with a different card or maybe even learn some of those fancy spreads people talk about.
It was definitely a fun little experiment, and I’m glad I did it. Who knows, maybe I’ve got a knack for this tarot thing after all. Well, that’s all for now. Hope you guys enjoyed this little adventure of mine!
