Okay, so today I wanted to try something a little different, something a bit more… mystical. I’ve been seeing tarot cards all over my social media feeds, and I got curious. I decided to do a reading for myself and focus on the “outcome” position, and guess what card I pulled? Justice. Yep, the Justice tarot card as the outcome. Here’s how the whole thing went down.
First, I grabbed my deck. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up a while back. I’ve dabbled in tarot before, but I’m no expert, believe me.
I started by shuffling the cards. I’m not gonna lie, I always feel a little silly doing this, like I’m in some kind of movie. But I shuffled them good, really mixing them up while trying to clear my mind and focus on my question. I didn’t have a super specific question, more like a general “What’s the overall outcome of my current path?” kind of vibe.
Then, I cut the deck into three piles and then put them back into one. Again, feeling a bit dramatic, but hey, gotta follow the process, right?
Next, I started laying out the cards. I chose a simple three-card spread – past, present, and outcome. I flipped over the first card for the past, then the second for the present, and finally, the moment of truth, the outcome card.
And there it was: Justice. I stared at the card. The woman sitting on the throne, holding the scales and the sword… it felt pretty intense.
I immediately grabbed my go-to tarot guidebook (I told you, I’m no expert!). I flipped to the Justice card section and started reading. The keywords that jumped out at me were fairness, truth, responsibility, and accountability.
It made me think. As an outcome card, it felt like a call to action. It wasn’t saying things would magically be perfect, but that if I act with integrity, make fair decisions, and take responsibility for my actions, things would ultimately work out in a balanced way. It’s about cause and effect, you know?
So, what did I actually do after pulling the card? Well, I didn’t make any drastic life changes, but I did spend some time reflecting. I thought about some recent situations where I might not have been as fair or as honest as I could have been. I considered how I could approach similar situations differently in the future.
It was a reminder to be mindful of my choices, to be honest with myself and others, and to own my actions. The Justice card, in this context, felt less like a prediction and more like guidance. The “outcome,” in my book, comes from the effort put in to receive it!
