Kerry King Tarotscopes: Love, Career, and More Insights

Okay, so, today I’m gonna yap about my little tarot reading adventure with Kerry King’s tarotscopes. Sounds kinda wild, right? Well, lemme break it down for ya.

First off, I stumbled upon this Kerry King tarot thing while just scrolling through social media, probably avoiding real work, haha. I saw someone mention it and I was like, “Kerry King? From Slayer? Tarot? What in the actual heck?” I mean, the dude’s known for heavy metal, not mystical mumbo jumbo.

Naturally, I had to check it out. So, I went searching online. I eventually found what I was looking for, and it was this whole thing where Kerry King, yeah, that dude, does these little tarot readings, more like tarotscopes, I guess, for each of the astrological signs. I was already chuckling because, come on, this is just bizarrely awesome.

Now, I’m not like, super into astrology or tarot, but I’m always down for some weirdness. So, I found the one for my sign, Scorpio, and I read it. I gotta say, it was surprisingly…not terrible? It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, which I appreciated. It was more like, “Yeah, life’s gonna be a grind, but here’s how to not completely screw it up.” Which, honestly, is pretty much my life motto.

I didn’t just stop at my sign, though. I went through a bunch of them, just for giggles. Some were kinda generic, you know, the usual “focus on your goals” stuff. But some were surprisingly specific. One of my friends is a total Gemini trainwreck, and the Gemini one was scarily accurate. I sent it to her, and she was like, “Dude, how did he know?”

So, here’s what I actually did with it. After reading mine, I decided to pick a card for the day based on the overall vibe I got from Kerry’s scope. I just shuffled a deck I have lying around (nothing fancy, just a Rider-Waite clone) and pulled one at random. The goal wasn’t to predict the future or anything, but to give me a little something to think about.

Day 1: Kerry’s scope talked about facing challenges head-on. I pulled the Five of Wands. Totally fitting! My day was a complete dumpster fire of conflicting priorities at work. But instead of hiding in the bathroom, I actually tackled them. Did it solve everything? Nope. But I felt way better just getting it over with.

Day 2: The scope was about creativity and breaking out of a rut. I pulled the Queen of Cups. This was weird, because I usually think of Cups as all mushy-gushy feelings, which isn’t really my thing. But I realized it was about letting myself be a bit more emotional and intuitive. I actually spent some time just doodling and listening to music, and it helped me come up with some cool new ideas for a project I was stuck on.

Day 3: The scope mentioned needing to be assertive. I pulled the Tower. Uh oh. I was expecting disaster, but it wasn’t that bad. A minor disagreement with a coworker escalated, but instead of backing down like I usually do, I stood my ground. It was uncomfortable, but ultimately, it cleared the air.

I did this for a week, just pulling a card based on the vibe of Kerry’s tarotscope. It was surprisingly helpful, not in a mystical way, but in a “gives you something to focus on” kind of way. It was like a weird, metalhead-approved daily prompt.

Would I recommend it? Yeah, if you’re looking for something a little different and you don’t take yourself too seriously. It’s a fun, quirky way to add a little bit of mindfulness to your day. And, let’s be honest, the fact that Kerry King is involved just makes it extra hilarious. Just don’t expect him to suddenly start playing a harp instead of a guitar.
