Okay, so I finally got my hands on the Celestial Tarot deck, and let me tell you, I was so pumped to dive in. I’ve been eyeing this deck for what feels like forever, and the artwork is just what I was hoping for.
Getting Started
First things first, I cleared my space. Gotta get rid of any lingering bad vibes, you know? I lit some incense, my favorite sandalwood, and put on some chill music, there were some instrument and some nature sounds. I took the deck out of the box, and just held it for a while, trying to connect with the cards.
Flipping Through the Cards
Then, I started going through each card, one by one. This took forever, but it was so worth it. The imagery is stunning, all those stars and constellations mixed with the classic tarot symbols. I spent a good amount of time just looking at the artwork, noticing all the little details. I made some notes in my tarot journal about my first impressions of each card, what feelings they brought up, and any initial interpretations that popped into my head.
First Reading
Once I felt like I had a basic grasp of the deck, I decided to do a simple three-card spread. You know, past, present, future.
I shuffled the deck really well, focusing on my question, The shuffle felt good and help me clear my mind. I cut the deck, and laid out the three cards.
- Past: The Star reversed, and some extra notes about my own experience.
- Present: The Lovers, upright.
- Future: The Wheel of Fortune, also upright.
Interpreting them, it was cool to see how the celestial imagery added another layer of meaning to the traditional interpretations. It felt really personal and insightful, even for a basic reading. I got to write down my thoughts in the Tarot Journal.
Wrapping Up
After the reading, I carefully put the cards back in their box. I felt so connected to this deck already. I’m definitely planning to use it for my daily draws and more in-depth readings in the future. This Celestial Tarot deck is awesome, and I’m so excited to keep exploring it!
