Okay, so I’ve been getting into tarot lately, and I kept seeing all these amazing, inclusive decks popping up. I really wanted a deck that resonated with me as a lesbian, you know? Something that reflected my experiences and relationships. So I decided to take a look at this.
I started by, you know, googling around. I just typed in “lesbian tarot deck” and looked.
I wanted to get an idea of the range available.
Diving into the Options
I browsed through a bunch of online shops. And there are so many artistic styles to choose from! Some were super traditional, just with female figures replacing the usual male ones. Others were really out there, with totally new imagery and symbolism. I spent, I dunno, probably a couple of hours just scrolling and saving pictures of the ones that caught my eye.
Making the Choice and waiting…
After 2 day searching and thinking, I was, like, “Okay, I need to narrow this down!” So, I got real with my self. I wanted something easy to read, but with a touch of me in it. So I went with a lesbian-intiutive themed deck, I’m still learning the tarot ropes!
- I looked at the reviews.
- Double-checked the price (gotta stay on budget!).
- Then I hit that “buy” button.
Unboxing and First Impressions
Fast forward to a few days later, and the package arrived! I was so excited, I practically ripped it open. The cards were gorgeous, The artwork really spoke to me. I spread them all out on my table, just admiring them.
I shuffled the deck, getting a feel for the cards. They were a little stiff at first, but they started to loosen up after a few shuffles. Then I did a simple three-card spread for myself – past, present, future. It was surprisingly insightful!I picked some cards.
Experimenting and Learning
Over the next few weeks, I experimented with different spreads. I read the little guidebook that came with the deck, trying to understand the meanings of each card. I also joined a few online tarot groups to get tips and advice from other *’s a bit like learning a new language, but it’s been really fun.
This whole thing has been way more rewarding than I *’s not just about telling the future or whatever. It’s about self-reflection, connecting with my intuition, and finding imagery that actually represents me. I’m still a beginner, for sure, but I’m loving the journey.
