Libra Tarot October 2023: Whats in the Cards for You?

Okay, so here’s the deal. I finally got around to doing my October tarot reading for Libra. You know, gotta see what the universe has in store, right? I’ve been messing with tarot for a while now, nothing professional, just personal stuff to help me figure things out.

I started by, you know, clearing my space. Lit a candle, some incense – the whole shebang. Gotta get the vibes right. Then I grabbed my deck. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck, nothing fancy, but it works for me.

I decided to do a pretty simple three-card spread: past, present, and future. I shuffled the deck, focusing on my intentions for the reading, what I wanted to know about October. Then, I pulled the first card for the past. It was… (checks notes)… The Tower. Yikes!

Okay, so The Tower. Usually not a great card, right? It often means upheaval, unexpected change, maybe even a bit of chaos. I thought back to September, and yeah, it made sense. There were some unexpected expenses that popped up, and some drama at work with a project that just exploded. So, in the past position, it definitely resonated. I took a deep breath. Alright, past is past, let’s see what’s happening now.

Next, I drew the card for the present. And guess what? The Queen of Pentacles! Okay, MUCH better. She’s all about stability, nurturing, and being grounded. It felt like a big contrast to The Tower. I’ve been really focusing on self-care lately, trying to eat better, exercise, and just generally take care of myself. So, yeah, I can see how that fits. I’m definitely feeling more in control and secure right now than I was last month.

Alright, the moment of truth: the future. I pulled the final card… The Lovers! Whoa! Okay, that’s interesting. The Lovers isn’t just about romantic love, it’s also about choices, partnerships, and aligning with your values. It felt like maybe I’d be facing some important decisions in October, possibly involving relationships or collaborations. Or maybe it’s just a reminder to stay true to myself and make choices that align with my core beliefs.

So, putting it all together: The Tower (past), Queen of Pentacles (present), and The Lovers (future). It feels like I’ve come through a period of upheaval and instability, and I’m now in a place of stability and self-care. October might bring some important decisions, especially around relationships and partnerships, but if I stay grounded and true to myself, I can navigate them successfully.

I jotted all this down in my journal, along with some extra notes about how each card made me feel and how it related to my life. I also like to pull an extra “clarifier” card for each of the main cards if I’m feeling unsure about the meaning. This time, I didn’t feel the need to, but I sometimes do for extra guidance.

That’s basically it. My Libra tarot reading for October 2023! We’ll see how it all plays out, but it’s definitely given me some food for thought. I always find it helpful to have a general idea of what to expect, even if things don’t go exactly as the cards predict. It’s all about guidance, not a guarantee. Good luck to all my fellow Libras out there!
