Looking for regular weekly insights? Dont miss alis tarot scorpio updates for your zodiac sign!

Alright, so today I decided to sit down and do a tarot practice session, focusing specifically on Scorpio energy. Sometimes I just get a feeling, you know? And today felt very Scorpio – deep, a bit intense. So, I grabbed my go-to deck, the one that feels most comfortable in my hands.

First things first, I cleared off my little table space. Nothing fancy, just enough room to lay out a few cards. I find it helps to just have a clean area. Then I picked up the deck. Spent a good few minutes just shuffling. I don’t have a super specific ritual for it, I just shuffle until it feels right. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it’s quick. Today was maybe five solid minutes of mixing them up, thinking vaguely about Scorpio themes – transformation, secrets, that kind of stuff.

Getting the Cards Down

Once the shuffling felt done, I cut the deck into three piles and then put it back together. Again, just my way of doing it. Then I pulled three cards off the top. Laid them out left to right.

Here’s what came up today:

  • Card 1: Death
  • Card 2: The High Priestess
  • Card 3: Eight of Cups

Okay, wow. Seeing the Death card turn up for a Scorpio reading? Didn’t surprise me one bit, honestly. That’s textbook transformation, endings leading to new beginnings. It felt pretty spot on for that intense Scorpio vibe.

Then the High Priestess right next to it. That made me pause. This one always feels like secrets, intuition, the stuff hidden beneath the surface. Paired with Death, it felt like transformation happening on a really deep, maybe even subconscious level. Like things are changing that you don’t fully see yet. Very Scorpio again – they always seem to know more than they let on, right?

And the last card, the Eight of Cups. This one usually means walking away, leaving something behind that isn’t fulfilling anymore. So, the whole picture together looked like this: A major ending or change (Death), guided by intuition or hidden knowledge (High Priestess), leading to the need to walk away from a situation (Eight of Cups).

Wrapping Up the Session

I spent maybe ten minutes just looking at those three cards together, letting the story sink in. Didn’t try to force too much meaning, just observed the connections. It felt pretty clear, direct even. Sometimes the cards shout, other times they whisper. Today felt more like a firm statement.

After sitting with it, I grabbed my notebook. I always try to jot down the date, the focus (Scorpio today), the cards pulled, and just a few quick thoughts on what it felt like. Nothing elaborate, just enough to look back on later. Helps me see patterns sometimes, or just remember a specific reading.

And that was it, really. Packed the cards back up, put my notebook away. Felt good to connect with the cards, especially focusing on a specific energy like Scorpio. It’s always a practice, right? Just showing up and doing it. Today felt like a decent session.
