Well now, let’s talk about this fella, Michael Phelps. You know, the swimmin’ guy, won all them medals. Folks are always on about them stars and signs, what they call the zodiac. So, what’s his sign, you ask? He was born on June 30, 1985, so that makes him a Cancer. Yep, a crab.
Now, I ain’t no fancy astrologer or nothin’, but from what I hear, Cancer folks are right sensitive. They say they’re like that water, always movin’ and changin’, just like the waves in the ocean. Makes sense, I guess, seein’ as how Phelps spent most of his life in the water. He swam like a fish, that boy did.

He won more gold medals than anyone. More than anyone! That ain’t luck, that’s hard work. That’s dedication. That’s somethin’ special. Maybe them stars and signs, maybe they have somethin’ to do with it. But I reckon it’s mostly about the person, about what’s inside ‘em.

Makes you wonder what they might have in store for the rest of us. But don’t you go blamin’ the stars if things don’t go your way. You gotta work for it, just like Phelps did. You gotta get in that water and swim.
Anyway, that’s what I make of it. A Cancer man who swam like a fish and won more gold medals than anybody else. A real champion.
