Need help locating rdr2 tarot cards easily? (Follow this straightforward step by step guide)

Alright, let me tell you about the time I decided to hunt down all those Tarot Cards in Red Dead Redemption 2. Seemed like a simple enough task at first, you know? Find some cards, sell ’em to Madam Nazar. Easy money, maybe some cool completion points. Yeah, right.

I started off just stumbling across them. Found one in an abandoned shack near Valentine, another one sitting on a porch railing somewhere in Rhodes, I think. It felt kinda neat, like finding little hidden treasures the game developers tucked away. So, I thought, why not try and find them all? There are, what, like four sets? Fourteen cards each? Doesn’t sound too bad on paper.

The Real Grind Begins

Turns out, “not too bad” was a massive understatement. These things are scattered absolutely everywhere. I mean everywhere. From the gator-infested swamps of Lemoyne clear up to the snowy peaks of Ambarino. I spent days, seriously, just riding. My poor horse. We went through so many Horse Revivers.

I tried being methodical at first. Cleared one area, then moved to the next. But some cards are just in plain weird spots. Inside drawers in fancy mansions I had to sneak into, on top of barrels in bandit camps I had to shoot my way through, even one perched precariously on a windowsill overlooking a sheer drop. Almost fell off more than once trying to grab one near Brandywine Drop.

You find yourself doing some strange stuff. Climbing onto rooftops in Saint Denis, searching creepy old churches in the middle of nowhere, rummaging through dilapidated train wrecks. It gets repetitive, I won’t lie. Ride, search, find card (or don’t), ride again. Sometimes I’d get sidetracked hunting a legendary animal or getting into a random shootout, which honestly was a welcome break.

Caving In and Cleaning Up

After finding maybe half the cards through sheer grit and wandering, I kinda hit a wall. Finding the remaining ones felt like searching for needles in a giant, digital haystack. So, yeah, I admit it. I eventually pulled up one of those online maps. Felt a bit like cheating, but honestly, my sanity was wearing thin.

Even with a map, it’s still work. You gotta:

  • Pin the location.
  • Ride all the way there.
  • Actually spot the darn card, sometimes they blend in real good.
  • Grab it.
  • Repeat. Like, dozens of times.

Seeing the sets fill up was satisfying, though. Especially when you finally nab that last annoying card for a set. You know the one, the one that just seemed impossible to find or get to.

Was It Worth It?

Finally, after what felt like forever, I had all four sets. Found Madam Nazar (which is a whole other challenge sometimes, her moving around constantly) and sold the lot. Got a decent chunk of cash and XP, which was nice. It definitely helped push towards that 100% completion goal I was vaguely aiming for.

Looking back, it was… an experience. A long, time-consuming experience. Did I enjoy every second? Heck no. Some parts were a real drag. But there’s a certain satisfaction in completing such a massive scavenger hunt across that beautiful, detailed world. It forces you to explore places you might never visit otherwise. Would I do it again? Probably not anytime soon. But hey, at least I can say I found every single one of those Tarot Cards.
