Stop resisting necessary change: Hanged man reversed tarot advice for embracing new life perspectives now.

Okay, so today I’m gonna ramble about my experience with the reversed Hanged Man tarot card. Buckle up, it’s gonna be a bit of a ride.

It all started a couple of weeks ago. I was feeling totally stuck, like in a rut, you know? Work was meh, my personal life was… nonexistent, and I just couldn’t seem to get my act together. So, naturally, I decided to pull some tarot cards. Figured it couldn’t hurt, right?

First pull? The Hanged Man. Upright. I was like, “Okay, cool. Surrender, new perspectives, sacrifice… got it.” But then I shuffled the deck again, asked for some clarification, and BAM! Hanged Man, but this time, reversed. I was like, “Uh oh. What’s this all about?”

I did some digging online, read a few articles, watched a couple of YouTube videos (don’t judge!). The general consensus seemed to be that the reversed Hanged Man can mean a refusal to surrender, stagnation, fear of sacrifice, or even pointless suffering. Joy. Just what I needed to hear.

So, I started thinking about what areas of my life I was resisting change or refusing to let go of. It didn’t take long to figure out. I had this old project at work that I was clinging to, even though it was clearly going nowhere. I was putting in all this effort, but getting zero results. It was like I was banging my head against a brick wall, just because I didn’t want to admit that the project was a lost cause.

That realization hit me pretty hard. I was basically choosing to suffer, rather than just cut my losses and move on. So, I took a deep breath and decided to act. I talked to my boss, explained the situation, and asked to be reassigned to something else. It was scary, admitting that I’d failed, but honestly, it felt so damn good to finally let go.

The next few days were weirdly liberating. I had all this extra time and energy that I’d been wasting on that dead-end project. I started focusing on new things, exploring new ideas, and actually feeling excited about work again.

But the Hanged Man reversed lesson didn’t stop there. I also realized I was holding onto some old resentments in my personal life. You know, those little grudges that you keep nursing for years, even though they’re just making you miserable? Yeah, I had a few of those.

So, I made an effort to reach out to some people I’d been avoiding, had some honest conversations, and finally let go of the anger and bitterness. It wasn’t easy, but it was so worth it. The weight that lifted off my shoulders was incredible.

Look, I’m not saying the Hanged Man reversed magically fixed my life. Tarot isn’t magic. But it did give me a kick in the butt, a reminder that sometimes you have to let go of what’s holding you back, even if it’s painful. Sometimes, you gotta embrace the discomfort and choose change, even when it’s scary. And sometimes, you just gotta admit you were wrong and move on.

It was a tough lesson, but I’m grateful for it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go pull some more cards and see what other wisdom the universe has in store for me. Wish me luck!
